WWE 2K25 Reveals Roman Reigns Bloodline Edition Cover, Gameplay and Release Date

Taylyn Hadley

WWE's "Head of the Table" Roman Reigns has been announced as the WWE2K25 cover star. In addition, a special Bloodline edition will also be released.

Joined by cousins Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and manager Paul Heyman, Reigns is acknowledged as the Original Tribal Chief (OTC) ahead of the game's release.

During the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix on Jan. 6, Heyman teased the release by dropping a massive hint about the cover in a conversation with Reigns that night.

Heyman asked Reigns if he could present him with a platform to celebrate his massive victory over Sikoa after their Tribal Combat match, to which Reigns responded that his schedule was free on Jan. 27. The door shut as they entered the locker room, and the WWE 2K25 logo appeared on screen.

This is Reigns' second time on the WWE 2K cover, having previously appeared alongside Becky Lynch in 2020.

Since then, Reigns and the story of the Bloodline have dominated the WWE universe, with Reigns becoming the longest-reigning Universal Champion, holding the title for a remarkable 1,300 days.

Reigns captured the belt at WWE Payback after defeating "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat Match, going on to hold the title for nearly four straight years.

One of the latest developments in Reigns' career concluded after a long bout with a member of the Bloodline, Sikoa, who had stolen his Ula Fala—a sacred piece of their family's history—and claimed to be the "real" tribal chief. Reigns reclaimed it in the Tribal Combat Match, where he was crowned by his uncle, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and acknowledged as the true champion.

Now, Reigns will enter his first Royal Rumble match in five years, scheduled for Saturday, where he will face fellow superstars including Seth Rollins, John Cena, CM Punk and more.
