WWE's Big E Revealed for 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' Disney+ Show

WWE Superstar Big E continues to add to his endeavors outside of the ring during his recovery from his devastating neck injury.

Big E announced on Monday that he will be voicing a character in the upcoming release of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which premieres on Wednesday on Disney+:

Big E hasn't wrestled since suffering a neck injury during an episode of SmackDown Live in March 2022. He's remained involved in WWE as an analyst and commentator during pre- and post-shows for premium live events.

During his time away from the ring, Big E made his acting debut in the romantic comedy television series Laid, which was released on Peacock in December.

Showrunner Jeff Trammell revealed that Big E has been working on Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man for quite some time, so it wasn't easy keeping his involvement under wraps.

"We've been recording him since a few years ago. The first time he recorded, he was still wearing the neck brace, so we've had to sit on this for a while," Trammell told Brandon Davis of Phase Hero (6:15 mark).

Big E is still working every avenue possible to try to get back into the ring, but for now, fans will surely enjoy hearing his voice when they tune in to watch Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man later this week.
