NFL Pro Bowl Selections 2025: Voting Results and Full List of Players Announced

Joseph Zucker

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Philadelphia Eagles are among the headliners from the 2025 Pro Bowl Games roster.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is by far the most notable omission as he missed out in a loaded race at his position.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce wound up claiming the overall fan vote, edging out Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

It appears the Swifties came out in force because Barkley led the field in the Dec. 20 voting update. Kelce not only didn't crack the top 10 but was also third among tight ends behind the Las Vegas Raiders' Brock Bowers and San Franciscso 49ers' George Kittle.

Barkley could rest easy knowing a Pro Bowl nod was nonetheless forthcoming.

The Eagles running back become the ninth player in NFL history to eclipse 2,000 rushing yards this season, and he's only 101 yards away from Eric Dickerson's single-year record.

Barkley will have to settle for that with Philadelphia resting him in Week 18. Considering he has logged a league-leading 345 carries, 50 more than his previous career high, the decision is understandable if still a little disappointing given what's at stake.

The fight for the three quarterback spots in the NFC was one of the most compelling of any position.

The conference boasts four of the top-five passers with the Detroit Lions' Jared Goff, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield, Minnesota Vikings' Sam Darnold and Seattle Seahawks' Geno Smith falling in behind Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow.

Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels inserted himself into the Pro Bowl conversation, too, thanks to his efficiency (3,530 yards, 25 touchdowns, nine interceptions and a 69.4 percent completion rate) along with Washington qualifying for the playoffs.

Few, if any, fans would've had Darnold or Daniels in the mix to represent the NFC in the Pro Bowl Games coming into the season.

In the AFC, nobody was surprised to see Burrow balling out along with Mahomes, Allen and the Baltimore Ravens' Lamar Jackson.

Somebody would have to be the odd man out, though, and that should've been Mahomes on merit. While his team is 15-1, he's averaging is fewest-ever passing yards per game (245.5). He has also thrown more interceptions (11) than Burrow, Jackson and Allen.

As has now become the custom, football will be merely the sideshow for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. Participants will compete in nine different events, culminating in the flag football game on Feb. 2.

"Passing The Test" is a new inclusion this year. It's part trivia contest and part about quarterback accuracy. Quarterbacks, along with one teammate, will answer five questions about their Pro Bowl peers, and every right answer will give them 10 additional seconds in the throwing portion of "Passing The Test."

The NFC will look to defend its 2024 Pro Bowl Games title. It edged out the AFC 64-59, giving coach Eli Manning his second straight win over older brother Peyton Manning.
