Top Prospects
Russell is the most notable name across the Team Icon and Team Unstoppable rosters.
He is the No. 2 overall prospect, per 247Sports, and is off to Alabama.
Russell is one of a few prized five-stars at quarterback who will be headed to the collegiate ranks next season.
Bryce Underwood and Tavien St. Clair, who will play at Michigan and Ohio State, respectively, are not involved in the UA All-American Game.
Elijah Griffin, the top defensive prospect in the class of 2025, will participate in the showcase. He is one of many highly-rated players off to Georgia next season.
Russell, Griffin and Oregon wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore are the only top-10 prospects on the UA All-American Game rosters.
Oregon's two best incoming players, Moore and cornerback Na'eem Offord, will play on Thursday.
The exhibition used to be a place for the best uncommitted recruits to announce their college decisions.
However, none of the top 100 players in the 247Sports player rankings are uncommitted at the moment. That change has been caused by the accelerated roster-building calendar in college football caused by the transfer portal and NIL.
Instead, the UA All-American Game will serve as a showcase to fans of certain programs for what their incoming players will bring in 2025 and beyond.
