As the NFL enters the final week of its regular season, four teams are tied for the worst record in the league at 3-13: the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. Only one will be first on the clock in the 2025 NFL draft.
At this point, the Patriots would get the first overall pick. But plenty could change this weekend, as any of the Browns, Titans or Giants could still end up atop the draft board.
There are plenty of talented prospects heading to the NFL via the 2025 draft class. So even the teams that don't end up at No. 1 will have plenty of top players to choose from.
With the 2025 draft order getting closer to being finalized, here's an updated mock of how things could unfold (with the projected order via Tankathon.com).

1. New England Patriots: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
There has never been a University of Colorado player to go No. 1 overall in the NFL draft. That could change in 2025, though, because the Buffaloes have a pair of top prospects in Hunter and Sanders, either of whom could be the first to come off the board.
If the Patriots end up at No. 1, it's unlikely they'd take a quarterback, considering they selected Drake Maye at No. 3 overall in last year's draft. Instead, New England would likely take Hunter, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner with a uniquely impressive skill set.
Will Hunter be able to play both wide receiver and cornerback in the NFL? We'll have to wait and see. But wherever he lines up long term, the 21-year-old should make a big impact because of his tools and potential.
As long as the team at No. 1 doesn't need a QB, expect Hunter to be the first player taken.
2. Tennessee Titans: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
There's a good chance that Sanders will be the first quarterback selected in the NFL draft. And that could mean the University of Colorado will have the first two players taken.
Sanders' senior season with the Buffaloes was quite impressive, as he passed for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns while also scoring four rushing TDs. The 22-year-old took another step forward as he was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
It could be time for the Titans to move on from Will Levis, who was a second-round draft pick in 2023. The 25-year-old is unlikely to be Tennessee's long-term solution at quarterback.
If the Titans end up at No. 1 or No. 2 in the draft, they could come away with Sanders.
3. Cleveland Browns: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
It will be interesting to see what happens if the Browns end up with a better pick than the Giants, who may be the most quarterback-needy team in the draft. New York could trade up from No. 4, if that's where it ends up in the final order.
But Cleveland could be in the QB market itself. Deshaun Watson has struggled to stay healthy over his first three seasons with the team, and the 29-year-old has underperformed whenever he's been on the field.
The Browns may look to take a quarterback early in the draft. And if Sanders is already off the board, Ward could be the next QB to be taken.
Ward could have a smooth transition to the NFL after playing two seasons at Washington State (2022 and 2023) and another at Miami (2024).
