B/R's Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Every NFL Week 15 Fantasy Matchup

Gary Davenport

After almost four months of poring over starting lineups, making waiver claims, swinging trades and weathering injuries, we are here: The fantasy football playoffs have arrived.

It's cause for both celebration and consternation. It's great to still be playing, but the pressure is greater than ever. You simply can't afford to lose another game.

This time of year, fantasy managers have to squeeze every point possible out of starting lineups. Every call could be the one that propels a team to the next round or ends the season.

So, every bit of information fantasy managers can get is critical. They need to know which players are heading for a big week, the surprise names who could be the difference between winning and losing, and the injury status of fantasy's banged-up stars.

Welcome to our one-stop shop to get all that information.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

Jauan Jennings Brooke Sutton/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Los Angeles Rams head into Thursday's NFC West showdown potentially down a wide receiver. Demarcus Robinson has a shoulder injury that leaves him questionable for this game.

The San Francisco 49ers have been ravaged by injuries at running back, and those injuries nearly claimed another victim last week. Isaac Guerendo left his first NFL start with a foot issue, though the rookie will play in Week 15.

Start of the Week

Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]: Jennings caught a pair of touchdown passes against the Bears last week and now faces a Rams defense allowing the 10th-most PPR points to wide receivers in 2024.

Sit of the Week

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]: Stafford ranks outside the top-15 fantasy quarterbacks' for the season, and he takes on a 49ers defense surrendering the 11th-fewest fantasy points to signal-callers this year.

Sleeper

Patrick Taylor Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]: Taylor would be the next man up at running back if Guerendo can't go Thursday night, and we have seen the Niners plug any number of backs into Kyle Shanahan's offense and have success.

Stat to Know

138.9. The number of rushing yards per game the 49ers have averaged this season, good for seventh in the league—and that's with Christian McCaffrey on the shelf most of the year. Whether it was McCaffrey (briefly), Jordan Mason or Guerendo, San Francisco has averaged 4.8 yards per carry and scored 14 times on the ground. Taylor will be a popular player on fantasy waiver wires this week.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns

DeAndre Hopkins Cooper Neill/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Kansas City Chiefs have had their share of injuries at wide receiver, and another one was added to the pile last week when Mecole Hardman was placed on injured reserve. Outside that though, there aren't any new issues of note for fantasy managers.

The Cleveland Browns could be short a pair of pass-catchers for Sunday's contest. Wide receiver Cedric Tillman is out and remains in the concussion protocol, and tight end David Njoku is questionable with a hamstring injury.

Start of the Week

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Kansas City Chiefs [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]: Hopkins hasn't posted huge numbers since joining the Chiefs midseason, but he could be in for a solid game against a Browns team allowing the 11th-most PPR points to wide receivers this season.

Sit of the Week

Nick Chubb, RB, Cleveland Browns [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: Chubb hasn't impressed this season, averaging just 3.1 yards per carry since rejoining the lineup. No team has surrendered fewer PPR points to running backs this year than the Chiefs.

Sleeper

Kansas City Chiefs Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,700]: The Chiefs haven't been an especially productive fantasy defense this season, but the Browns are among the league leaders in both sacks allowed and giveaways in 2024.

Stat to Know

Nine. That's how many interceptions quarterback Jameis Winston has thrown in six starts for the Browns this year. He has given Cleveland's passing game a jolt and set a franchise record with 497 yards against the Denver Broncos. But the turnovers have hurt his chances of being anything more than a temporary solution under center for the team.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans

Ja'Marr Chase Cooper Neill/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Cincinnati Bengals can't afford any more losses as they cling to the slimmest of playoff aspirations. They travel to Nashville this week at relatively full strength. Quarterback Joe Burrow was limited in practice Wednesday, but his Week 15 status isn't in jeopardy.

Titans QB Will Levis has been nursing a sprained shoulder that was aggravated by a hit last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's fully expected to be available in Week 15. Running back Tony Pollard (ankle) and wide receiver Tyler Boyd (foot) missed at least some practice this week, but Boyd is off the injury report and Pollard is expected to suit up.

Start of the Week

Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,700]: Tennessee's struggling offense will probably lean hard on Pollard and the ground game Sunday, and the Bengals have struggled defensively this season, 26th in the league in yards allowed per game.

Sit of the Week

Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,800]: While Ja'Marr Chase has been going ballistic, Higgins has been relatively quiet this year. The Titans have been stingy to opposing WRs in 2024, allowing the second-fewest PPR points to the position.

Sleeper

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, WR, Tennessee Titans [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]: Westbrook-Ikhine had been on quite the hot streak before cooling off a week ago. But the fifth-year veteran faces a Bengals defense that ranks 27th in the NFL against the pass in 2024.

Stat to Know

317.4. That's how many PPR points Chase has for the season after last week's gaudy 14/177/2 stat line against the Dallas Cowboys, the third time this year he has surpassed 40 PPR points in a game. He isn't the only wide receiver who has eclipsed 300 fantasy points this year, he's the only one who has 250.

Washington Commanders at New Orleans Saints

Jayden Daniels Timothy Nwachukwu/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Washington Commanders remain without the services of running back Austin Ekeler, who is still in the NFL's concussion protocol and on injured reserve. Outside that, the team is in relatively good shape coming out of the bye.

The same can't be said for the Saints, who have been decimated by injuries this season. Now they will likely be without the services of quarterback Derek Carr, who broke his left hand last week against the New York Giants.

Start of the Week

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,200]: McLaurin has shown a strong rapport this season with quarterback Jayden Daniels, and the Saints are a plus fantasy matchup for wide receivers—seventh in PPR points given up to the position.

Sit of the Week

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,700]: Kamara is a top-five running back and almost impossible to sit. But he's also the last man standing for the Saints offense, and Washington will undoubtedly focus its defensive attention on him.

Sleeper

Zach Ertz, TE, Washington Commanders [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,000]: The Saints aren't a great fantasy matchup for tight ends, but Ertz has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers this season, ranking 10th for the season in PPR points at his position.

Stat to Know

Five. That's where Jayden Daniels ranks among fantasy quarterbacks for the season. The rookie was on a roll headed into the bye, with back-to-back games of 25-plus fantasy points. The Saints haven't been a great fantasy matchup for the QB position this season, but New Orleans is 28th in pass defense, surrendering 246.3 passing yards per game.

Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants

Mark Andrews G Fiume/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Baltimore Ravens could be getting back a wide receiver as they come out of the bye week. Rashod Bateman (knee) was back at practice to start the week and is on track to play in Week 15.

The Giants are having a miserable season, and it appears there will be yet another change at quarterback this week. With Drew Lock nursing a heel injury, Tommy DeVito is expected to start.

Start of the Week

Baltimore Ravens Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,900]: The Ravens haven't been an especially productive fantasy defense this season, but the Giants offense is an injury-marred mess that has surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to defenses this season.

Sit of the Week

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]: Andrews rebounded nicely from a miserable start to the season, but just about the only thing the Giants defense has done effectively is defend tight ends. Only the Detroit Lions have allowed fewer PPR points to the position.

Sleeper

Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,600]: Trusting any Giants receiver isn't easy right now. But New York will almost certainly be playing from behind, and the Ravens sport the league's worst pass defense.

Stat to Know

82.7. That's how many rushing yards per game the Ravens have allowed in 2024, fewest in the league. Tyrone Tracy Jr. has played well since taking over as the lead running back for the Giants, but he's looking at a brutal matchup in Week 15: Baltimore sits 24th in the NFL in PPR points given up to RBs.

Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers

Rico Dowdle Sam Hodde/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a major defensive loss last week when linebacker DeMarvion Overshown tore his ACL. But the team is in relatively good shape in offense, with no fantasy-relevant players on the injury report bar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who has been nursing a shoulder injury for weeks.

The Carolina Panthers were hit by another injury last week. After missing a chunk of this season while recovering from an ACL tear suffered last year, running back Jonathon Brooks tore up his knee again last week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Start of the Week

Rico Dowdle, RB, Dallas Cowboys [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Dowdle has been on a roll, topping 100 rushing yards in back-to-back games. Now he lines up against the NFL's worst run defense, with the Panthers allowing just over 170 yards a game on the ground.

Sit of the Week

Brandin Cooks, WR, Dallas Cowboys [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]: Lamb can't be left out of fantasy lineups, but the Panthers have been a tougher than expected matchup for wide receivers. Carolina has given up the 10th-fewest PPR points to the position this season.

Sleeper

Xavier Legette, WR, Carolina Panthers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]: The rookie managed just two catches a week ago, but he was targeted eight times ahead of a matchup with a Cowboys defense that ranks 22nd in the league against the pass this year.

Stat to Know

15.2. That's how many PPR points per game the Panthers are giving up to tight ends this season for fifth-most in the NFL. The problem for fantasy managers is that last week at least, the tight end targets in Dallas were split just about down the middle between Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker. That makes the former something of a risky fantasy start, even in this favorable fantasy matchup.

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars

Garrett Wilson Megan Briggs/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Jaguars have a litany of players on injured reserve, including quarterback Trevor Lawrence. They were dealt another major blow this week when it was revealed that tight end Evan Engram will miss the rest of the season with a torn labrum.

The New York Jets were without the services of running back Breece Hall last week due to a knee injury. But there's optimism as we head into the weekend that the young back will be available against the Jaguars.

Start of the Week

Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]: It's been a rough season for the Jets' big-name receivers, but Week 15 may provide at least a temporary reprieve. The Jaguars sport the second-worst pass defense in the NFL.

Sit of the Week

Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: It's not bad enough that Jacksonville's promising rookie has to catch passes from Mac Jones this week, but he'll also do so in the worst fantasy matchup in the AFC for wide receivers this year.

Sleeper

New York Jets Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000}: The Jets have been neither great nor terrible defensively this season. But this is about the matchup--the Jaguars were a good one before the offense was ravaged by injuries.

Stat to Know

186.9. That's how many passing yards per game the Jets have given up this season, fourth-fewest in the league. If cornerback Sauce Gardner is sidelined again, the matchup gets a bit better; but between the Jets defense and Jones' lack of arm talent, all the pass-catchers in Jacksonville are iffy fantasy plays in Week 15.

Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans

Joe Mixon Mike Carlson/Getty Images

Key Injuries

If the Miami Dolphins are going to get back in the playoff race, they can't afford any more losses. They head to Houston to take on the AFC South leaders at close to full strength. Reserve running back Raheem Mostert is the only offensive weapon who was truly questionable for Week 15, although wide receivers Tyreek Hill (wrist) and Jaylen Waddle (hamstring) were both limited in practice Wednesday. By Friday, all three were off the injury report.

The Texans are coming out of the bye in even better shape. No fantasy-relevant players are on the injury report.

Start of the Week

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Miami Dolphins [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Tagovailoa threw for 331 yards and two scores in last week's win over the Jets, and he draws a favorable Week 15 matchup for the position with the Texans.

Sit of the Week

Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,400]: For the most part, Dell has been quiet this year, despite Stefon Diggs going down with an injury. Now he faces a Miami defense allowing the fourth-fewest PPR points to wide receivers in 2024.

Sleeper

Houston Texans Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]: The Miami offense has improved considerably since earlier in the season. However, the offensive line remains a concern, and the Dolphins remain a favorable fantasy matchup for defenses for the season as a whole.

Stat to Know

88.7. That's how many rushing yards Texans running back Joe Mixon has averaged this season, which trails just Derrick Henry of the Baltimore Ravens and Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles. Mixon and Barkley are the only two running backs in the league who have averaged over 20 PPR points per game, but Mixon will have his hands full with Miami's seventh-ranked run defense in Week 15.

Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos

Bo Nix Perry Knotts/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Indianapolis Colts were on a bye in Week 14, and that has given the team a chance to get healthier. Wide receiver Josh Downs is questionable for Week 15, but he's practicing and tentatively appears on track to return to the lineup Sunday.

The Denver Broncos are in even better shape—the team's injury report is clean where fantasy-relevant players are concerned.

Start of the Week

Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]: After a bumpy start to the season, Nix has settled in as a solid starter both for the Broncos and fantasy managers. The Colts defense has struggled against the pass, surrendering the seventh-most yards per game in the league.

Sit of the Week

Anthony Richardson, QB, Indianapolis Colts [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: Richardson's play has improved relative to earlier in the season, but he's still completing well under half of his passes and faces one of the league's stingier defenses in the Broncos this week.

Sleeper

Devaughn Vele, WR, Denver Broncos [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,200]: Vele has become a bigger part of the Denver offense as the season has progressed, with double-digit PPR points in three of his past four games. Against an iffy Colts pass defense, he could be a sneaky-good fantasy play.

Stat to Know

379.4. The total yards per game the Indy defense is allowing, which ranks 29th in the NFL. The Colts have struggled against the run as well, surrendering the most rushing yards per game in the AFC. The Denver run game has devolved into a true committee attack over the past month-plus, but rookie Audric Estime has some "sleeper" appeal of his own in Week 15.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions

Khalil Shakir Harry How/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Bills are coming off a devastating loss in Los Angeles in the highest-scoring game of 2024. But as they try to get back on track in Detroit, they will do so at full strength: No notable Buffalo players on offense are on the injury report except tight end Dalton Kincaid, who is questionable.

Detroit is the NFL's hottest team, winners of 11 straight. And while the defense has been beset by injuries, the offense is in good shape—no prominent Lions appear in danger of missing Sunday's potential Super Bowl preview.

Start of the Week

Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Shakir had a big game against the Rams last week, racking up 106 yards and a touchdown on five receptions. The Lions have surrendered the fifth-most PPR points to wide receivers this year.

Sit of the Week

James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,800]: Given the season Cook has had, the young running back is awfully hard to sit. But the Lions sport one of the NFL's best run defenses, allowing just 93.9 yards per game on the ground.

Sleeper

Amari Cooper, WR, Buffalo Bills [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]: Calling Cooper a "sleeper" may be pushing it. But coming off a six-catch, 95-yard game in which he had 14 targets and with a great fantasy matchup, he is one of Week 15's biggest bargains in terms of DFS salary.

Stat to Know

Six. That's the number of touchdowns Bills quarterback Josh Allen had in Week 14: three through the air and three on the ground. It was the first time in the Super Bowl era that a QB had three passing touchdowns and three rushing scores in the same contest. Former Browns great Otto Graham is the only other signal-caller in NFL history to accomplish the feat.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles

DeVonta Smith Mitchell Leff/Getty Images

Key Injuries

As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for the Battle of Pennsylvania, they do so with a major question mark at wide receiver. George Pickens missed last week's win over the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury, and he has been ruled out for Week 15.

The Philadelphia Eagles will be short a pass-catcher of their own. Tight end Dallas Goedert landed on injured reserve last week with a knee issue.

Start of the Week

DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: Frankly, the fantasy matchups in this game are mostly bad. But the key to the Eagles unlocking their floundering passing attack may lie in getting Smith more involved in the offense.

Sit of the Week

Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]: Harris has been a decent low-end fantasy RB2 for the season, but the sledding won't be easy against an Eagles defense allowing 105.8 rushing yards per game and the fifth-fewest PPR points to running backs.

Sleeper

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,900]: With Pickens on the sideline last week, Freiermuth hauled in three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown against the Browns. He should be an important part of the Steelers' passing game in Week 15.

Stat to Know

178.5. The number of passing yards per game the Eagles are allowing, which is fewest in the NFC. Last year, their leaky secondary was their undoing down the stretch and in the postseason. But thanks largely to the addition of rookies Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, the Philly defense has become a strength.

New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals

Rhamondre Stevenson Jaiden Tripi/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Patriots come out of their off week attempting to establish some positive momentum heading into the offseason, and their injury report is clean offensively.

The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 15 trying to shake off the stink of a three-game skid since the bye week. They will do so at relatively full strength. They don't have any new players of importance to fantasy managers on the injury report outside tight end Trey McBride (knee), who is expected to play.

Start of the Week

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]: Stevenson had 21 touches for almost 100 total yards two weeks ago against the Indianapolis Colts. In Week 15, he faces a Cardinals defense allowing the seventh-most PPR points to running backs this season.

Sit of the Week

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,300]: Henry has been New England's most reliable receiver in 2024. But the Cardinals have been stingy to opposing tight ends this year, surrendering the eighth-fewest PPR points to the position.

Sleeper

Arizona Cardinals Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]: The Cardinals have been up-and-down defensively this season, but they draw a great Week 15 matchup: The Patriots have given up the fifth-most fantasy points to defenses this year.

Stat to Know

171.5. The number of passing yards per game the Patriots are averaging, which is last in the NFL. Drake Maye has shown some flashes of talent as a rookie at quarterback, but New England's offensive priority has to be improving the talent around him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert Perry Knotts/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Buccaneers have regained possession of first place in the NFC South, but there could be an issue in the backfield in Week 15. Running back Bucky Irving's back injury tightened up last week against the Raiders, and he's questionable for Sunday's contest. Wide receivers Sterling Shepard (foot) and Mike Evans (hamstring) both sat out Wednesday's practice session. Irving and Evans are both officially questionable, with Irving at higher risk of sitting out.

The Los Angeles Chargers were without top wide receiver Ladd McConkey last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he's questionable for Week 15. Tight end Will Dissly is expected to miss multiple weeks after injuring his shoulder in last week's loss. Quarterback Justin Herbert also missed practice time this week, but he intends playing through his leg injury.

Start of the Week

Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]: Herbert isn't 100 percent, but assuming he makes good on his pledge to play this week, it will be against a Buccaneers defense leading the league in fantasy points surrendered to quarterbacks.

Sit of the Week

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: White topped 100 total yards last week and scored twice, but he could cede touches to Irving this week and faces a Chargers defense surrendering the sixth-fewest PPR points to RBs in 2024.

Sleeper

Joshua Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,600]: With McConkey out last week, Palmer caught six passes for 78 yards. He could again see an increased target share against Tampa's 27th-ranked pass defense.

Stat to Know

36. That's how many rushing yards Chargers running back Gus Edwards had last week against the Chiefs to lead the team. With JK Dobbins (knee) on the shelf, the L.A. ground game has struggled in a big way. Edwards found the end zone, but his 3.6 yards per carry last week and 3.5 yards per pop for the season don't inspire a ton of confidence in fantasy.

Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks

Josh Jacobs Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Packers were without wide receiver Romeo Doubs last week, but while he remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, he was a full participant in practice Wednesday, has cleared the protocol and will play Sunday night.

The status of Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III is less certain. After missing last week's win over Arizona with a calf injury, he was deemed "day to day" by head coach Mike MacDonald. He's truly questionable.

Start of the Week

Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,400]: Jacobs averaged less than four yards per carry last week, but he found the end zone three times. He should see plenty of work Sunday against Seattle's 21st-ranked run defense.

Sit of the Week

Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Reed's matchup with the Seahawks isn't terrible from a fantasy perspective, but last week's goose egg makes the young wideout hard to trust in a must-win week.

Sleeper

Green Bay Packers Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,100]: The Packers have quietly been a top-10 fantasy defense for the season, and the Seahawks have quietly been a surprisingly favorable matchup for the position, sixth in fantasy points allowed.

Stat to Know

9. The ranking of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in PPR points over the past month. He has emerged as the No. 1 receiver for his team, leading Seattle with 102 targets on the season. Given all the talent the Seahawks and Packers have at wideout, this is a game with more than a little shootout potential.

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

Keenan Allen Perry Knotts/Getty Images

Key Injuries

It's been a long while since the Chicago Bears won a game, and as they try to stop their seven-game skid, they will do so with a banged-up backfield. neither D'Andre Swift (groin) nor Roschon Johnson (concussion) have practiced so far this week, leaving them truly questionable.

Unfortunately for the Bears, it's a similar story for the 11-2 Minnesota Vikings. At this time of year, just about everyone has bumps and bruises, but there aren't any prominent Vikings on offense who appear in danger of missing Week 15.

Start of the Week

Keenan Allen, WR, Chicago Bears [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: Allen's production has picked way up in recent weeks, including nine catches for 86 yards and a score on a whopping 15 targets when the Bears and Vikings met in Chicago three weeks ago.

Sit of the Week

D'Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]: The Vikings are one of the hardest teams in the league to run the ball against, as Swift found out three weeks ago. The last time he faced Minnesota, he managed just 30 yards on the ground on 13 carries.

Sleeper

Minnesota Vikings Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]: The Vikings lead all fantasy defenses in points after 14 weeks, largely because of sacks and takeaways. No quarterback in the league has been dropped more than Caleb Williams, and the Bears have surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points to defenses.

Stat to Know

157.9. The franchise-record passer rating posted by Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold in last week's win over the Atlanta Falcons. He threw for 357 yards last week with five scores, and he's seventh in fantasy points among QBs for the season. However, the Bears aren't an easy team to throw on: Chicago is last in the NFC in fantasy points allowed to signal-callers this season.

Atlanta Falcons at Las Vegas Raiders

Kyle Pitts David Berding/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Atlanta Falcons are reeling, but they will at least have all hands on deck for Monday's trip to Las Vegas. There aren't any fantasy-relevant Falcons players in jeopardy of sitting out this week's game.

The Raiders are beat up in the backfield. Zamir White landed on injured reserve with a quad issue, but Alexander Mattison was removed from the injury report after missing two games with an ankle injury. There's also optimism quarterback Aidan O' Connell (knee) will be active in Week 15.

Start of the Week

Kirk Cousins, QB, Atlanta Falcons [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: This isn't a play for the squeamish, but fantasy managers in need of a streaming or superflex option at quarterback may want to consider the slumping Cousins against a bad Raiders defense.

Sit of the Week

Sincere McCormick, RB, Las Vegas Raiders [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]: Fantasy managers with a hole at running back considering McCormick as a spot-starter may want to look elsewhere. The Falcons have allowed the eighth-fewest PPR points to running backs, and Mattison's return clouds McCormick's role.

Sleeper

Atlanta Falcons Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]: In news that should surprise no one, only two teams have given up fewer fantasy points to defenses this season. The Falcons aren't an especially good defense, but fantasy managers looking for a Week 15 matchup play could do worse.

Stat to Know

23. That's how many receiving yards Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has tallied over the last three weeks combined after catching one of six targets a week ago for all of 14 yards. It was the third straight week that he failed to amass two catches or have 15 receiving yards in a game. Numbers don't get much more depressing than that.
