Taylor Swift Invited WNBA's Caitlin Clark to NFL Game to Watch Travis Kelce, Chiefs

Taylor Swift's recent stop in Indianapolis for one of the final legs of the Eras Tour may have led to a new friendship with Caitlin Clark.

Clark told Sean Gregory of TIME that Swift invited her to attend a Kansas City Chiefs game, along with gifting the Indiana Fever star a bag of Eras Tour swag with a note inside.

Swift played three shows at Lucas Oil Stadium from Nov. 1-3. Gregory noted that Clark attended two of the concerts and she was able to meet Taylor's mom, Andrea, and boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

"People are just going crazy that I'm there," Clark said of her experience at the concert. "I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite."

The note included in Clark's gift bag mentioned Swift and Kelce were hoping to attend a Fever game in the future. It's unclear if Clark will take her up on the offer to watch a Chiefs game from Swift's suite that she frequently occupies at Arrowhead Stadium during the NFL season.

Kansas City only plays one more home game in the regular season on Dec. 21 against the Houston Texans. The Chiefs have already clinched the AFC West and lead the race for home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs by two games.

During the Chiefs' playoff run last season, Swift frequently had some of her famous celebrity friends in the suite with her. Blake Lively and Ice Spice were among the guests in her suite at the Super Bowl to watch Kansas City defeat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

As for Swift's desire to watch Clark do her thing on the basketball court, the Fever tip off the 2025 WNBA season on May 17 against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.
