Ashton Jeanty continued his historic season on Friday night.

Jeanty helped No. 10 Boise State defeat No. 20 UNLV by the final score of 21-7 in the Mountain West Championship game.

He finished with 209 yards on 32 carries, with 132 of his yards occurring in the first half alone. This included a 75-yard rushing touchdown that gave the Broncos a 21-0 lead through two quarters.

The 21-year-old became the all-time career rushing leader in Boise State history during the contest, breaking a record that had stood since 1980 (h/t Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman).

With finalists for the Heisman Trophy set to be announced on Monday, fans continued to call for Jeanty as the eventual winner of the award over Colorado Buffaloes two-way standout Travis Hunter.

With the victory, Boise State earned its second consecutive Mountain West title. Jeanty and the Broncos will also be heading to the College Football Playoff.
