Cyprus-based gambling company Medier has filed a lawsuit against legendary boxer Mike Tyson in the United Kingdom, alleging that he broke an agreement in order to box Jake Paul.

According to Reuters (h/t ESPN), Medier filed the lawsuit in London's High Court in October, and it is seeking $1.59 million (1.5 million euros) from Tyson.

Medier, which promotes the online casino Rabona, stated in the lawsuit that it agreed to a promotional deal with Tyson back in January before Tyson backed out of the deal in March.

Tyson claimed the deal fell through due to a breach of the agreement by Medier, but Medier has denied the claim.

A lawyer for Medier blamed the Tyson vs. Paul fight for the dissolution of the working relationship, saying: "The true reason for Mr. Tyson and [his company] Tyrannic's hasty and unlawful termination was because Mr. Tyson had agreed a deal, sponsored by Netflix, to fight the influencer Jake Paul."

Medier has also said that the failure to complete the deal with Tyson caused the company to lose about 1.46 million euros.

Tyson, 58, had his first official professional boxing match since 2005 when he clashed with Paul on Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The bout, which streamed live on Netflix, saw Paul win by unanimous decision, bringing his career record to 11-1.

While Tyson is a former multi-time world heavyweight champion and is considered one of the all-time greats, his advanced age showed in the eight-round fight. After looking strong in the first two rounds, he struggled to gain his footing thereafter.

Per Brandon Wise of CBS Sports, Tyson's friend, UFC fighter Henry Cejudo, said "Iron" Mike made $20 million for fighting Paul.
