The SEC's top programs are once again the kings of college football recruiting.
The Texas Longhorns, Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide all reside the top of the class of 2025 team rankings.
Texas and Georgia took full advantage of their in-state recruiting hotbeds to put themselves at the top of the rankings.
Alabama thrived in its first full recruiting cycle under head coach Kalen DeBoer, who had to maintain the recruiting class Nick Saban put together last offseason.
1. Texas
Texas hasn't been affected by its move into the SEC.
In fact, the Longhorns have performed better than most SEC teams on and off the field.
The Longhorns hold a slight edge over Alabama and Georgia in the class of 2025 recruiting rankings, per 247Sports.
Unlike other elite programs, the Longhorns do not have to worry about quarterback with Arch Manning waiting in the wings to replace Quinn Ewers.
The Longhorns added talent to surround Manning with the best possible talent. They brought in two wide receivers, a tight end and an athlete ranked inside the top 100.
Texas also reinforced its defense with five top-85 players, including top-ranked safety Jonah Williams.
The majority of Texas' recruiting class came from in state, as 15 of the 24 players currently inked to a letter of intent are from Texas.
2. Alabama
Alabama landed its potential quarterback of the future in No. 2 overall prospect Keelon Russell.
The signal-caller out of Texas is the star of Kalen DeBoer's first class from a full recruiting cycle as Alabama head coach.
DeBoer landed a trio of five-star commits and a total of eight top-60 players have inked letters of intent with the Crimson Tide.
Unlike Texas and Georgia, most of Alabama's top recruits came from outside the state. The Tide landed seven pledges from California-based players.
The bulk of the recruiting class is made up of interior prospects. Alabama inked nine players across the offensive and defensive lines.
3. Georgia
Georgia's biggest strength in the class of 2025 is taking advantage of one of the best talent hotbeds in the country.
The Bulldogs landed 21 pledges from in-state players, led by a pair of top-10 defensive linemen.
Defensive lineman Elijah Griffin and edge-rusher Isaiah Gibson headline the UGA class of 2025. They are two of five in-state top-50 recruits to land with the Bulldogs.
Kirby Smart and his staff also loaded up in the trenches with five commits each on the offensive and defensive lines.
