College Football Transfer Portal 2024: Tracking Early Decisions for Notable Players

Scott Polacek

While the College Football Playoff and bowl games are yet to begin, it is the time of year when potentially thousands of players will be looking toward the future and their next school.

That is because the winter transfer portal runs from Dec. 9-28.

Having the transfer portal window open at the same time teams are preparing for playoff and bowl games isn't the most ideal situation for roster management and makes life all the more difficult for coaching staffs, but it gives players the opportunity to seek out better individual fits for their future.

With that in mind, here is a look at some of the most notable players heading to the portal this December.
