Mike Williams has been almost a complete non-factor for the Pittsburgh Steelers since being acquired in a midseason trade a month ago, registering exactly one catch for 32 yards and a touchdown in his four games with the team.
And that came in his first contest with the Steelers. Since then, he hasn't so much as been targeted, which is a wild stat when you consider that 10 different Steelers caught a pass during Sunday's wild 44-38 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
But head coach Mike Tomlin believes the team will find a way to better incorporate Williams into the offense:
Williams' response to his lack of targets, meanwhile, was the message "F--k it, we winning" with a laughing emoji on his Instagram Stories. So he isn't making a fuss about it—at least not publicly—to this point.
Indeed, since joining the Steelers, the team has gone 3-1 and sits comfortably atop the AFC North at 9-3 overall. But the veteran wideout is another weapon for opponents to worry about, and finding a way to utilize him would make sense for Pittsburgh.
