The Denver Broncos moved one step closer to an AFC playoff spot Monday with a 41-32 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Denver is one of the most surprising stories in the league with rookie quarterback Bo Nix helping spearhead a turnaround effort for a franchise that entered the season coming off seven consecutive losing campaigns.
The Broncos are now 8-5 and two games clear of the Indianapolis Colts in the race for the AFC's final wild-card spot.
Here is a look at where they and everyone else are slotted in the latest standings with Week 13 now officially in the books.
AFC Standings
Division Leaders
1. Kansas City Chiefs (11-1)

While there is still plenty to decide in terms of seeding in the AFC, there may not be much drama down the stretch when it comes to who will be in the playoffs.
The Buffalo Bills already clinched the AFC East, while the Kansas City Chiefs are three games ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West. The Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC North) and Houston Texans (AFC South) each have a two-game lead in their respective divisions and picked up important wins Sunday.
There are even multiple game separating the Broncos and Baltimore Ravens from the Colts and other wild-card contenders, although Indianapolis could change that with a head-to-head showdown against Denver in Week 15.
If the Colts don't figure out a way to win that one on the road, it will become even clearer that the Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, Texans, Chargers, Ravens and Broncos will be the seven AFC playoff teams.
Kansas City still controls its own destiny for the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage from that group, although its head-to-head loss to the Bills leaves Patrick Mahomes and Co. with little room for error.
Pittsburgh also has the opportunity to remain a factor with a game against the Chiefs in Week 17, although it might have to continue winning every matchup before that for it to matter in the race for the No. 1 seed.
There are still races to be decided, but an AFC playoff potentially featuring Mahomes, Josh Allen, Russell Wilson, C.J. Stroud, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson and Nix should sound quite exciting for fans across the league.

The NFC is a tale of two types of divisions at this point.
On the one side is the NFC North and NFC East with juggernaut teams that have continued to look like title contenders as the season progresses. On the other side is the NFC South and NFC West where going .500 might be all it takes to win a division crown.
Yes, the Seattle Seahawks are still above .500 following Sunday's comeback win against the New York Jets. Still, 7-5 isn't all that inspiring, and the rest of the division is within striking distance with the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals at 6-6 and San Francisco 49ers at 5-7.
The NFC South looks worse with the 6-6 Atlanta Falcons sitting on top thanks to their season sweep of the 6-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yet Tampa Bay has momentum following a second straight win and looks far more dangerous with Mike Evans back in the lineup, so that advantage might not last for long.
Some of the teams in the NFC North would surely love to be in the NFC South, as a 9-3 record for the Green Bay Packers is only good enough for third place. The Detroit Lions keep winning, so Green Bay and the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings might face an entire playoff path on the road despite sparkling records.
Even the 4-8 Chicago Bears have a point differential of plus-one, underscoring how daunting the division is this season.
The NFC East isn't quite as strong from top to bottom, but the 10-2 Philadelphia Eagles have won eight in a row and are surely waiting for the Lions to finally slip up as they eye the No. 1 seed. The Washington Commanders also look the part of a playoff team at 8-5 with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels leading the way.
Such striking differences between the divisions means seeding and matchups will be all the more important, even for the wild cards. The teams that can match up against the NFC South and NFC West champions might be better-suited for a deep run than their overall seeds indicate.
