Welcome to Bleacher Report's top 25 college football quarterback rankings after Week 14.
These rankings are published every Tuesday morning throughout the 2024 season, with the goal of identifying the 25 best QBs in the country each week as the season unfolds.
The only thing that matters here is on-field production in 2024. That means past performance, future expectations, physical tools and NFL upside have all been removed from the equation.
Every quarterback's individual production and quality of opponent will be considered each week. Players rise and fall based on where they ranked the previous week, so it is a fluid process.
Let the debate begin.

Nos. 25-21
25. Seth Henigan, Memphis (Previous Rank: HM)
Stats: 291-of-451, 3,208 yards, 23 TD, 6 INT; 129 rush yards, 1 TD
Henigan secured his fourth straight season with at least 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns by throwing for 218 yards and two scores in an impressive 34-24 victory over No. 17 Tulane. He led Memphis to its second straight 10-win season, and he trails only Dillon Gabriel and Will Rogers among active QBs with 13,972 career passing yards, good for 15th on the all-time list.
24. Jordan McCloud, Texas State (Previous Rank: 19)
Stats: 247-of-355, 2,920 yards, 29 TD, 12 INT; 276 rush yards, 7 TD
McCloud did not find quite the same level of success he experienced last year at James Madison when he had 3,657 yards and 35 touchdowns through the air, but he still had a productive season in his first year at Texas State. He wrapped up the regular season as the Sun Belt leader in completion percentage (69.6%), passing touchdowns (29) and total touchdowns (36).
23. Garrett Nussmeier, LSU (Previous Rank: HM)
Stats: 312-of-490, 3,735 yards, 26 TD, 11 INT; -45 rush yards, 3 TD
It was an up-and-down season for Nussmeier in his first year as LSU's starting quarterback, and a disappointing campaign overall for the Tigers, but he played well on Saturday in a 37-17 victory over Oklahoma. He completed 22-of-31 pass attempts for 277 yards and three touchdowns, and he was asked to do a lot all season, leading the SEC with 490 pass attempts.
22. Josh Hoover, TCU (Previous Rank: 18)
Stats: 293-of-439, 3,697 yards, 23 TD, 10 INT; -15 rush yards, 4 TD
Hoover now sits one yard behind Max Duggan (2022) for second on TCU's single-season passing yardage leaderboard after throwing for 212 yards in Saturday's win over Cincinnati. However, he failed to add to his touchdown total in that game and was also picked off for the 10th time this year. The redshirt sophomore has 5,903 yards and 38 touchdowns over the past two seasons as the Horned Frogs starter.
21. Behren Morton, Texas Tech (Previous Rank: 21)
Stats: 295-of-466, 3,335 yards, 27 TD, 8 INT; -22 rush yards, 1 TD
After throwing for a season-high 401 yards and four touchdowns in Week 13 against Oklahoma State, Morton logged his fourth 300-yard passing performance of the season on Saturday with 359 yards and two scores in a win over West Virginia. He has been one of the most improved quarterbacks in the country after throwing for 1,757 yards with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 10 games a year ago.
Nos. 20-16
20. Chandler Morris, North Texas (Previous Rank: 16)
Stats: 322-of-512, 3,774 yards, 31 TD, 12 INT; 242 rush yards, 4 TD
Only Kyle McCord has attempted more passes this season than the 512 uncorked by Morris, and he has posted some gaudy numbers as a result. That said, the TCU transfer has been trending downward in these rankings the last few weeks, as he threw for just 901 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions over four games in November.
19. Alonza Barnett III, James Madison (Previous Rank: 15)
Stats: 213-of-355, 2,598 yards, 26 TD, 4 INT; 442 rush yards, 7 TD
Barnett held his own this year after stepping into the big shoes left behind when 2023 Sun Belt Player of the Year Jordan McCloud transferred to Texas State, though the Dukes finished the season on a sour note with consecutive losses to Appalachian State and Marshall. He completed 14-of-17 pass attempts for 138 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's double-overtime thriller against the Thundering Herd.
18. Sam Leavitt, Arizona State (Previous Rank: 23)
Stats: 180-of-287, 2,444 yards, 21 TD, 5 INT; 350 rush yards, 4 TD
Leavitt really hit his stride during the second half of the season for a Sun Devils team that earned a spot in the Big 12 championship game after they were picked to finish last in the conference's preseason poll. He completed 17-of-22 pass attempts for 291 yards and three touchdowns during Rivalry Week against Arizona, and over his last five games, he has completed 66.7 percent of his throws for 1,278 yards with 13 touchdowns and one interception.
17. Sawyer Robertson, Baylor (Previous Rank: 24)
Stats: 199-of-317, 2,626 yards, 26 TD, 7 INT; 227 rush yards, 4 TD
Considering he opened the year slotted behind Toledo transfer Dequan Finn on the depth chart, Robertson might be the most surprising quarterback on this list. After a 2-3 start, Baylor quietly won six games in a row to close out the regular season, and he threw for 1,581 yards with 17 touchdowns and four interceptions during that winning streak. He connected on 23-of-31 pass attempts for 310 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-17 blowout against a red-hot Kansas team on Saturday.
16. Riley Leonard, Notre Dame (Previous Rank: 14)
Stats: 194-of-293, 2,092 yards, 16 TD, 5 INT; 721 rush yards, 14 TD
He may not have been the traditional pocket passer Fighting Irish fans got used to watching Sam Hartman a year ago, but Leonard had a standout season as a dual-threat option for an 11-1 Notre Dame team. He had 155 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in Saturday's win over USC, which should clinch a spot for the Irish in the playoff field.
Nos. 15-11
15. Carson Beck, Georgia (Previous Rank: 17)
Stats: 283-of-435, 3,429 yards, 28 TD, 12 INT; 86 rush yards, 1 TD
One of the Heisman Trophy front-runners when the season began, Beck did not have the year many were expecting, but he ended the regular season playing as well as any quarterback in the country. Over his last three games, including Friday's eight-overtime thriller against Georgia Tech, he piled up 941 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions to help the Bulldogs secure a spot in the SEC championship game.
14. Kyle McCord, Syracuse (Previous Rank: 20)
Stats: 367-of-558, 4,326 yards, 29 TD, 12 INT; -58 rush yards, 3 TD
McCord leads the nation in completions (367), attempts (558) and passing yards (4,326), and he had his 11th 300-yard passing performance of the season on Saturday when he tallied 380 yards and three touchdowns to derail Miami's trip to the ACC championship game. He is now Syracuse's single-season record holder in passing yards and passing touchdowns, overtaking Ryan Nassib's 2012 season in both categories.
13. Drew Allar, Penn State (Previous Rank: 8)
Stats: 204-of-285, 2,668 yards, 18 TD, 5 INT; 225 rush yards, 5 TD
Allar has made substantial improvements to his completion percentage (59.9 to 71.6 percent) and yards per attempt (6.8 to 9.4) this season while throwing the ball down field with more frequency than a year ago. He had a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in Saturday's blowout win over Maryland, and Ohio State's unexpected loss to Michigan means he will now be playing in the Big Ten championship game.
12. Bryson Daily, Army (Previous Rank: 12)
Stats: 43-of-76, 860 yards, 8 TD, 1 INT; 1,354 rush yards, 25 TD
Between his 860 passing yards and 1,354 rushing yards, Daily had a hand in more than 50 percent of the total yards gained by a 10-1 Army team this season. He had 147 rushing yards and two running touchdowns in Saturday's win over UTSA, and he also logged a season-high 190 passing yards and a third score through the air. His 25 rushing touchdowns trail only Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty's 29 for the FBS lead.
11. LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina (Previous Rank: 13)
Stats: 172-of-265, 2,274 yards, 17 TD, 7 INT; 655 rush yards, 7 TD
The Gamecocks ran their winning streak to six games with Saturday's win over in-state rival Clemson, and Sellers has been a breakout star during their unexpected run of success during the second half of the season. He had 164 passing yards, 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Week 14. And over his last six games, he had 1,481 passing yards, 436 rushing yards and 17 total touchdowns.
Nos. 10-6
10. Quinn Ewers, Texas (Previous Rank: 10)
Stats: 206-of-306, 2,307 yards, 24 TD, 7 INT; -35 rush yards, 1 TD
Ewers missed almost three full games this season or his overall numbers would be more impressive, but when healthy, he has been every bit the standout signal-caller he was expected to be heading into the year. He had 218 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception in Saturday's 17-7 victory over Texas A&M, clinching the Longhorns' spot in the SEC championship game against Georgia.
9. Jalen Milroe, Alabama (Previous Rank: 11)
Stats: 189-of-287, 2,652 yards, 15 TD, 10 INT; 719 rush yards, 20 TD
Milroe failed to record a passing touchdown for the fourth time in his last five games on Saturday, but he racked up 104 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 17 carries in the Iron Bowl. His 35 total touchdowns lead the SEC and rank sixth in the nation, and he has proved to be a game-changing talent with his legs, even if he has been inconsistent in the passing game.
8. Cade Klubnik, Clemson (Previous Rank: 7)
Stats: 258-of-402, 3,041 yards, 29 TD, 5 INT; 437 rush yards, 7 TD
Klubnik did not have his best game in Saturday's loss to South Carolina, throwing for 280 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception, though he did log 62 rushing yards and two scores on the ground. His 3,478 total yards are the eighth-highest single-season total offense mark in Clemson history, and the most since Trevor Lawrence in 2019.
7. Will Howard, Ohio State (Previous Rank: 2)
Stats: 227-of-314, 2,860 yards, 27 TD, 8 INT; 131 rush yards, 7 TD
Simply put, Howard had a dud on the biggest stage. He completed 19-of-33 pass attempts for 175 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Saturday's 13-10 loss to rival Michigan. That doesn't erase what has been an otherwise fantastic season for the Kansas State transfer, but it does send him sliding down these rankings.
6. John Mateer, Washington State (Previous Rank: 6)
Stats: 224-of-347, 3,139 yards, 29 TD, 7 INT; 826 rush yards, 15 TD
Mateer added two more scores to his FBS-leading 44 total touchdown tally in Saturday's loss to Wyoming, and while the Cougars ended the year with three straight losses to fall out of the national picture, the redshirt sophomore still had a breakout season. Replacing Cam Ward as the Washington State signal-caller was a tall order, but he made his own mark on the program in 2024.
5. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
Previous Rank: 5
Stats: 249-of-363, 3,875 yards, 25 TD, 6 INT; 452 rush yards, 3 TD
It's been a season of highs and lows for Ole Miss and quarterback Jaxson Dart, and a loss to Florida in Week 13 likely knocked them out of the college football playoff field.
However, on an individual level, it has still been a terrific campaign for Dart, as he wrapped up the regular season as the SEC leader in passing yards (3,875), completion percentage (68.6%) and yards per attempt (10.7).
With 143 passing yards on Saturday against Mississippi State, he surpassed Eli Manning as the Ole Miss' all-time leader with 10,213 passing yards in his three seasons under center with the Rebels.
4. Kurtis Rourke, Indiana
Previous Rank: 9
Stats: 202-of-287, 2,827 yards, 27 TD, 4 INT; -25 rush yards, 2 TD
After a disappointing showing against Ohio State in Week 13, Indiana and quarterback Kurtis Rourke returned with a vengeance against Purdue to wrap up the regular-season slate.
Rourke completed 23-of-31 pass attempts for 349 yards and six touchdowns in a 66-0 shellacking of the Boilermakers, rebounding from a 68-yard day through the air against the Buckeyes a week earlier.
The Hoosiers will not be playing in the Big Ten championship game, but they are still on track to earn a spot in the 12-team playoff field.
3. Dillon Gabriel, Oregon
Previous Rank: 3
Stats: 275-of-374, 3,275 yards, 24 TD, 6 INT; 175 rush yards, 7 TD
The Oregon Ducks wrapped up an undefeated regular season with a 49-21 victory over Washington on Saturday, and Dillon Gabriel was his usual efficient self, connecting on 16-of-23 pass attempts for 209 yards and two touchdowns while also adding his seventh rushing score of the year.
His 3,275 passing yards are tops in the Big Ten, and he sits at No. 2 on the all-time list with 18,140 career yards during his time at UCF, Oklahoma and Oregon.
Gabriel also ranks second of all time in passing touchdowns with 149, putting him just six off the top spot which belongs to University of Houston legend Case Keenum.
2. Cam Ward, Miami
Previous Rank: 1
Stats: 293-of-434, 4,123 yards, 36 TD, 7 INT; 196 rush yards, 4 TD
Cam Ward was outplayed by Syracuse counterpart Kyle McCord in Saturday's loss, which knocked the Hurricanes out of the ACC championship game and perhaps out of the playoff picture entirely.
That said, it has still been a phenomenal season for the Washington State transfer, and he didn't exactly lay an egg in Week 14, throwing for 349 yards and two touchdowns in the 42-38 loss.
Ward still wrapped up the regular season as the FBS leader with 36 passing touchdowns, and he joined McCord as the only quarterbacks in the country to throw for 4,000 yards during the 2024 season.
1. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
Previous Rank: 4
Stats: 337-of-454, 3,926 yards, 35 TD, 8 INT; -16 rush yards, 4 TD
Shedeur Sanders wrapped up his 2024 regular season with a bang, racking up 438 passing yards and five touchdowns in a 52-0 victory over Oklahoma State, though it wasn't enough for the Buffaloes to secure a spot in the Big 12 championship game.
He completed 57-of-70 pass attempts over his final two games to improve his season completion percentage to a FBS-leading 74.2 percent, and he also paced the Big 12 in passing yards (3,926), passing touchdowns (35), yards per attempt (8.6) and passer rating (168.8).
Sanders was named the 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner, given annually to the top upperclassmen quarterback.
