NFL Playoff Bracket Picture 2024-25: AFC, NFC Standings After Week 13 SNF

Joe Tansey

The Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks were among the teams that picked up key wins in the AFC and NFC playoff pictures on Sunday.

Pittsburgh and Houston picked up wins to maintain their advantages in the AFC North and AFC South.

Seattle moved into first place in the NFC West thanks to its win over the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals' loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Arizona was the biggest loser from Sunday's early-afternoon window because it dropped out of the playoff places.

The Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Baltimore Ravens in the late-afternoon window didn't change anything in the NFC, but it shook up the AFC wild-card standings.

Philadelphia is still one game back of the Detroit Lions for the top seed in the NFC, while Baltimore dropped a spot in the AFC wild-card race behind the Los Angeles Chargers.

13. Tennessee (3-9)

14. New England (3-10)

15. Jacksonville (2-10)

16. Las Vegas (2-10)

Pittsburgh and Houston both won in Sunday's early window to keep the leads in their respective divisions.

The Steelers earned another AFC North win by beating the Cincinnati Bengals, while the Texans downed the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Pittsburgh received some help in the AFC North race from the Eagles in the late-afternoon window. The Steelers are now 1.5 games in front of the Ravens as Baltimore hits its bye week.

The Los Angeles Chargers also benefited from the Ravens' loss, as they moved up into the No. 5 seed. LA needs to be in front of Baltimore on record because the Ravens own the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Chargers.

The bottom of the wild-card race got a bit more interesting after the Indianapolis Colts' last-second win over the New England Patriots.

Indianapolis put some pressure on the Denver Broncos going into Denver's Monday matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

Denver can move back ahead of the Colts by two games with a win.

The Buffalo Bills became the first division winner in the NFL this season. They clinched the AFC East crown with their Sunday night win over the San Francisco 49ers.

14. Chicago (4-8)

15. Carolina (3-8)

16. New York Giants (2-10)

The Seattle Seahawks moved to the top of the NFC West with their road win over the New York Jets.

Seattle heads into Week 14 with one-game edges over the Rams and Cardinals and a two-game advantage over the 49ers.

Arizona's loss to the Minnesota Vikings brought more clarity to the NFC wild-card race. The Vikings now sit at 10-2, Green Bay is 9-3 and Washington is 8-5.

Arizona and its fellow NFC West teams in the wild-card spots need near-perfect finishes and some help from Washington's opponents to have a chance of shifting the wild-card order.

The Packers have a chance to bring the Detroit Lions back into the NFC North title race on Thursday night.

Detroit already beat the Packers and Vikings and it is the only NFC North team with an undefeated mark in divisional play. That could come in handy if the Lions drop a game at some point.

For now, the Lions are still one game ahead of the Eagles in the race for the NFC's No. 1 seed. Both teams continued their winning streaks in Week 13.
