Kansas continues to occupy the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after being one of the few major programs to come away unscathed from Thanksgiving Week.
The AP voters had the unenviable task of sifting through a week with numerous upsets and ranked matchups. The Top Five looks unrecognizable from seven days ago, with Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky and Marquette falling in behind the Jayhawks.

Of the Top 10 teams from the Week 4 poll, five lost at least one game last week and two from that group suffered multiple defeats. The plethora of highly anticipated battles certainly helped separate some of the genuine contenders from the pack early on.
Auburn was the big winner from Feast Week.
The Tigers were crowned Maui Invitational champions after beating Iowa State, North Carolina and Memphis in Hawaii. Senior forward Johni Broome played a starring role, averaging 21.7 points, 15.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks during the run.
Auburn's strong showing in Maui raised the question of whether it deserved to leap ahead of Kansas into the No. 1 spot.
The Jayhawks had a strong win themselves, though, outlasting Duke 75-72 in Las Vegas last Tuesday. Four of their starters scored in double figures, with senior guard Dajuan Harris Jr. narrowly missing out on a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.
The biggest story from Feast Week was undoubtedly UConn, which nearly went from being No. 2 to almost unranked entirely.
The Huskies lost three games all of last season as they successfully defended their national title. They've already matched that total after going winless in the Maui Invitational. Once they fell behind by 20 points to Dayton in their tourney finale, it was abundantly clear everyone involved with UConn was already looking ahead to the flight home.
Don't expect the program to enter a similar event for the foreseeable future, either, based on Hurley's postgame comments after a 99-45 win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday.
It wasn't a great week for the Huskies or their head coach.
Nobody should write off UConn's three-peat bid. The team also had a three-game losing streak in 2022-23 and was a fairly pedestrian 13-7 in conference play before catching fire in the Big Dance.
A matchup with Baylor on Wednesday presents the Huskies with an opportunity to put the Maui Invitational behind them.
As loaded as the days around Thanksgiving were in scheduling terms, Week 5 won't see much of a drop-off thanks to the annual inter-conference encounters. Wednesday alone sees Baylor vs. UConn, Alabama vs. North Carolina, Marquette vs. Iowa State, Kansas vs. Creighton and Auburn vs. Duke.
Things will pick up again on Saturday when Wisconsin and Marquette meet in Milwaukee while Gonzaga welcomes Kentucky to Seattle.
