Alexa Bliss has not been seen on WWE programming in nearly two years, but her return reportedly may be on the horizon.
According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, there has been "a lot of talk" about Bliss within WWE creative lately, and the writers are working on deciding when and where to bring her back into the fold.
Johnson added that sources with knowledge of the situation believe Bliss will return at some point during WrestleMania season.
The unofficial annual start of WrestleMania season is the Royal Rumble, and the 2025 Royal Rumble will emanate from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 1.
If Bliss were to return at the Rumble, it would be almost exactly two years since her last match, which was a loss to Bianca Belair in a Raw Women's Championship match at Royal Rumble 2023.
Bliss' absence was due to her first pregnancy, as she and husband Ryan Cabrera had a daughter together in November 2023.
Although plans for Bliss' return have been kept under wraps, Alexa made it clear last month that she would be back in WWE at some point, writing on her Instagram stories (h/t WrestleZone): "For all of the questions in my comments yes- I will be returning. But for now, please enjoy my current content."
Bliss, 33, signed with WWE in 2013, and she established herself as one of the most decorated women's Superstars in WWE history over the next decade.
Alexa is a three-time Raw women's champion, two-time SmackDown women's champion and three-time WWE women's tag team champion, plus she won the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2018.
If there are plans for Bliss to be utilized at WrestleMania 41 in April, having Bliss enter the women's Royal Rumble match would perhaps be the perfect way to re-introduce her.
While no information is known regarding what her character will be like or whether she will be a heel or face when she returns, it is easy to envision her being part of the Wyatt Sicks stable due to the fact that she previously worked with the late Bray Wyatt.
