After the last several years, Survivor Series has become a beloved event again thanks to the addition of the WarGames stipulation, and the 2024 edition of the premium live event is shaping up to be a memorable one.
From the stable warfare expected when the Original Bloodline take on the new Bloodline to the women's WarGames match pitting Rhea Ripley and her team against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez and their squad, Saturday's show is sure to leave fans shocked.
Here are some wild predictions the WWE Universe should consider.
CM Punk Walks Out on Roman Reigns
When CM Punk walked out to offer his assistance as the fifth man to Reigns and his team of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn, the WWE Universe was genuinely surprised.
The affiliation between Paul Heyman and both Reigns and Punk makes it an understandable booking decision, but the hope now is that The Best in the World walks out on the Original Bloodline during the match, setting up a heel turn and marquee feud between the two Superstars.
WWE would be better with the heel version of Punk creating chaos.
As seen during his run with All Elite Wrestling, the happy-go-lucky babyface version was quick to run its course. For WWE to capitalize on his popularity before his body inevitably starts giving out again, he should become a menacing heel who torments the main roster.
That starts with playing along with Reigns' plan for the WarGames match until the slightest bit of adversity hits, at which point you can fully expect Punk to take his ball and go home, leaving the faces shorthanded.
Liv Morgan Pins Rhea Ripley
While all eyes will be on the epic men's WarGames matchup, the women's version of the stipulation could end up being the better bout from an in-ring perspective. And at the end, look for Liv Morgan to stand tall over Rhea Ripley once again.
Ripley will be joining forces with Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky and Bayley against Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae.
Eventually, Ripley will get her revenge on Morgan and take back her Women's World Championship while also destroying The Judgment Day, but that should come at WrestleMania 41.
Until then, Morgan should keep getting the upper hand, building anticipation for the eventual title change. To add insult to injury, Rodriguez should get the better of Ripley in the WarGames bout, but it should be Morgan who sneaks in and collects the pinfall.
Shinsuke Nakamura Steals US Title
LA Knight is one of the best talkers in the industry, and his recent run with the United States Championship has been genuinely entertaining. But his character hasn't faced any true adversity so far.
Enter Shinsuke Nakamura.
The King of Strong Style is one of the most well-respected wrestlers in the company and is viewed as a legitimate tough guy. While Knight talks a big game, the former IWGP world champion can back up everything his new character portrays.
Knight should drop the title to Nakamura on Saturday in a shocking turn of events, and the two men should embark on a long-term storyline that highlights their best attributes.
The program should end with The Megastar getting back the U.S. title, but the feud could be epic with proper booking.
