Chicago Sky star Angel Reese hinted at a possible second career after starring in a new ad for Cash App.
The 2024 All-Star joked she's "just teasing my acting bag" after the ad was released Tuesday:
Reese and Cash App announced their collaboration in October. As part of the deal, the company became the sponsor for her Unapologetically Angel podcast and helped to renovate a public basketball court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Becoming a spokesperson for Cash App allowed Reese to show off her acting chops as well.
"I loved being part of this campaign because it was an opportunity to show people the importance of investing in themselves and feeling in control of their money," she said. "I'm proud to partner with Cash App and am grateful for their continued support of my efforts to make an impact both on and off the court."
Reese entered the WNBA with massive expectations following her decorated college career and managed to exceed them. She averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds, setting a league record with 15 straight double-doubles at one point.
While the 2025 season won't tip off until next spring, fans will get to see the 6'3" forward well before that in the inaugural season for Unrivaled. The 3x3 league tips off in January, with Reese picked as one of six players on Rose Basketball Club.
Rose BC's first game is Jan. 17 against Vinyl Basketball Club.
