The team led by Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan's team in a WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on Saturday.
Ripley was joined by Bianca Belair, Bayley, Naomi and Iyo Sky on the winning squad, while Morgan's losing side included Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae.
As the match began to wear on, bodies were scattered across the floor, but Jax remained standing, taking her time to climb to the top turnbuckle and finish the match for her team.
Naomi and Belair came to their team's aid, grabbing Jax and throwing her through a table, nearly securing the victory before Morgan made a last-ditch effort to keep her team alive.
As expected, it came down to Morgan and Ripley in the end.
Ripley soared off the top turnbuckle with Morgan in her arms, crashing through a table and securing the win for her team with a pinfall.
The crux of Saturday's women's WarGames match was the long-running rivalry between Ripley and Morgan, which started way back in 2022 when Ripley turned on Morgan and ended their partnership.
Morgan got revenge by attacking Ripley, putting her on the shelf and forcing her to vacate the Women's World Championship shortly after WrestleMania 40. Adding insult to injury, Liv won the women's world title while Rhea was out injured.
As if that wasn't enough, Morgan stole Ripley's love interest away from her when she returned, as Dominik Mysterio turned his back on Rhea and helped Liv beat her in a title match at SummerSlam.
Ripley has been out for revenge ever since, but she has been unable to win back the Women's World Championship, and she has faced her fair share of adversity.
That included Morgan and Rodriguez recently attacking her in the NXT parking lot, leaving Ripley with a fractured orbital bone.
While Ripley was out of commission, Morgan and Rodriguez became embroiled in a rivalry with the WWE women's tag team champions in Belair and Jade Cargill, which saw Bianca and Jade beat Liv and Raquel in a match to retain the titles.
However, that was far from the end of their feud, as they followed Belair and Cargill to SmackDown and attacked them backstage during a WWE Women's Championship match between Jax and Naomi, which Jax won thanks to interference from Stratton and LeRae.
Belair, Cargill and Naomi were already tight, and they ended up joining forces with Sky, who had a common enemy in Morgan since she would a battle royal to become No. 1 contender for Liv's women's world title.
Jax, Stratton and LeRae stood alongside Morgan and Rodriguez because of their own issues with Belair, Cargill and Naomi, leading to a WarGames challenge.
It initially looked as though the babyface team was going to be at a numbers disadvantage, but Ripley shocked the WWE Universe on a recent episode of Raw by making a surprise return and aligning with Bianca, Jade, Naomi and Iyo to be the final member of their team.
A late change had to be made to the babyface team, though, after Cargill was taken out by a mystery attacker. With Jade on the shelf, Bayley stepped up as her replacement and ingratiated herself to Belair by helping her beat Jax in a singles match for the WarGames advantage.
By virtue of their win at Survivor Series, Ripley and her partners got some measure of revenge, but Rhea isn't likely to rest until the Women's World Championship is back in her possession.
