Video: Tom Brady Booed by Knicks Fans at MSG, Throws Signed Football into Crowd

New York Knicks fans gave former NFL quarterback Tom Brady a less than warm welcome to Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

Brady, who was sitting courtside, responded to fans booing his appearance on the arena screen by signing a football and tossing it into the crowd.

Brady lost three Super Bowls during his time with the New England Patriots. Two of those losses came to the New York Giants, including a Super Bowl XLII upset in February 2008.

The former Patriots quarterback said in February that he is "not over" the losses. From the reaction at seeing him on Friday night, it sounds like New York fans aren't either.

Brady was attending a cross-town rivalry game against the Brooklyn Nets, the result of which will count toward the group stage of the NBA Cup in-season tournament standings. Both the Knicks and Nets entered the game with five wins apiece.

After retiring from professional football in 2023, Brady joined the Fox Sports broadcasting team ahead of the 2024 NFL season. His next broadcasting appearance is scheduled for the Chicago Bears' Week 11 home game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
