Rachael "Raygun" Gunn is now immortalized in the newest entry into the long-running Call of Duty franchise.
The newest battle pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 includes an emote that resembles Raygun's viral performance from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Breakdancing made its debut at the Paris Games and thanks to the contributions of Raygun, it left quite the impression.
Gunn lost her three matchups by identical scores of 18-0. Her performances received a lot of mockery and spawned countless memes on social media.
To that end, Raygun may not exactly be thrilled to see Call of Duty indirectly referencing her Olympics showing.
After the Summer Games concluded, she addressed the online reaction toward her and acknowledged the mental strain it was causing.
"I didn't realize that that would also open the door to so much hate, which has, frankly, been pretty devastating," she said. "But I went out there and I had fun. I did take it very seriously. I worked my butt off preparing for the Olympics and I gave my all, truly."
Gunn has retired from competitive breaking altogether as a result to the continuing criticism.
