The homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were burglarized close to the team's Oct. 7 home game against the New Orleans Saints.

TMZ Sports reported Tuesday that documents from the Cass County Sheriff's office indicated a burglary at Mahomes' Belton, Missouri, house was reported to authorities at approximately midnight on Oct. 6.

TMZ Sports later reported the FBI is assisting the Cass County Sheriff's office in the investigation.

Anna Lazarus Caplan of People noted police were dispatched on a burglary/breaking and entering call, although they found no signs of forced entry.

Brian Dulle of Fox 4 Kansas City cited the police report, which indicated a bodyguard called the police.

As for Kelce's house, TMZ reported the police report said it was burglarized around 7:33 p.m. on Oct. 7 when the Chiefs were hosting the Saints for Monday Night Football. According to the report, $20,000 in cash was stolen and the back door was damaged.

Kansas City defeated the Saints 26-13 in that game to improve to 5-0.

The Chiefs have since won four more games and sit at 9-0 as the league's only undefeated team. Next up is a high-profile AFC showdown against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
