B/R's Week 11 PPR Fantasy Football Player Rankings

Gary Davenport

It's Week 11 of the 2024 fantasy football season. And that means one thing: Time for the stretch run.

This is the most pressure-packed time of the regular season. There are boatloads of fantasy managers sitting at 4-6, 5-5 or 6-4 who will be agonizing over the next four weeks. Play well and finish strong, and it's on to fantasy's second season for a chance at glory.

However, have a losing streak at the wrong time and all the work done over the past 10 weeks can be undone in four. A season that was rolling along can come completely off the rails.

Every win matters, but there's no denying that winning is an absolute must for some teams right now.

We're here to help you get that desperately needed victory with position-by-position PPR rankings, matchups to exploit and avoid, and a look at the top 100 overall players for Week 11.

Quarterbacks

Bo Nix Set Number: X164642 TK1

It has happened with next to no fanfare, but Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos has quietly become a viable fantasy starter.

The Oregon product isn't posting huge stat lines like Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens or Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, but he is ninth in fantasy points among quarterbacks for the season after 10 weeks.

That's not jaw-dropping fantasy production, but it's more than Patrick Mahomes, Jordan Love and Jared Goff.

Nix has been that much more productive of late. Since Week 5, he is fifth in fantasy points at the position. Over that period, he has outpointed Josh Allen, Kyler Murray and fellow rookie Jayden Daniels.

Nix hasn't gotten a ton of run from the fantasy community, but that doesn't mean he hasn't earned some.

Good Matchups

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions (vs. JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]

Goff would surely just as soon forget last week's five-interception effort against Houston, even if the Lions won the game. Things should be easier this week against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is 30th in the NFL in pass defense this season.

Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]

Wilson completed just half his passes last week against the Commanders and failed to throw for 200 yards, but he tossed three touchdown passes in a Steelers win. Now he draws a league-worst Ravens pass defense allowing almost 295 passing yards per game.

Bad Matchups

Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons (at DEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]

Cousins topped 300 passing yards in last week's loss to the New Orleans Saints, but he was shut out of the end zone. The veteran draws a tough Week 11 matchup. Patrick Surtain II and the Broncos are a bottom-10 fantasy matchup for wide receivers.

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers (at CHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,000]

Love has had an up-and-down 2024 season that has been marred by injury, but while the Packers have a good shot at taking down the reeling Bears next week, Chicago is eighth in the NFL in pass defense and ranks dead-last in fantasy points per game allowed to quarterbacks this season.

Sleeper

Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets (vs. IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]

Assuming Rodgers doesn't just say to heck with the Jets and go roaming the Brazilian rainforest for the rest of the season, he should have a shot at a decent game Sunday. The Colts are 27th in the league in pass defense, giving up almost 240 yards through the air per game.

Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey Cliff Welch/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

In quite a few (if not the majority of) fantasy football drafts this past summer, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey was the No. 1 overall pick. He had also yet to play this season due to an Achilles injury.

However, the 28-year-old made his 2024 debut in Week 10. He didn't have the best day running the ball, averaging just three yards per carry, but he chalked that up to knocking off the rust.

"That's the third time I've had pads on in eight weeks so, just getting back into a groove," McCaffrey said. "That was really good for me to do. I think there's a couple of things that, maybe I didn't feel like myself 100 percent, but that's normal when you haven't played in a long time, and I'll learn and grow from those and keep trucking along."

Thanks to his receiving chops, McCaffrey finished his first game back with 19 touches for 107 total yards. Things will likely only improve from here—and he is locked in as a top-five fantasy running back moving forward.

Good Matchups

Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs (at BUF) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,700]

Since taking over as Kansas City's No. 1 running back, Hunt has quietly posted top-12 numbers among RBs. Now he faces a Buffalo Bills defense that has given up the most PPR points per game to the position this season.

David Montgomery, Detroit Lions (vs. JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]

The Lions' backfield has been piling up fantasy points again this season, with both Jahmyr Gibbs and Montgomery ranking among the top 15 in PPR points among running backs. The Jaguars have struggled in just about every way imaginable this year, including stopping the run.

Bad Matchups

Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]

Harris had been one of the hottest running backs in the league before averaging just 2.5 yards per carry against the Commanders last week. Now he has to face a Ravens defense that leads the league in rushing yards allowed per game—and with a balky ankle.

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (vs. MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]

With Tyjae Spears back in the lineup for the Titans last week, Pollard's touches and yardage totals against the Los Angeles Chargers were his fewest since Week 3. Now he draws a Minnesota Vikings run defense giving up an NFC-low 79 yards per game on the ground.

Sleeper

Alexander Mattison, Las Vegas Raiders (at MIA) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]

Mattison hasn't been great on a per-touch basis with 3.3 yards per carry. But provided the Raiders can keep this game relatively close, volume shouldn't be an issue. And Mattison has tallied four total touchdowns this season.

Wide Receivers

Ja'Marr Chase Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images

The first fantasy wide receiver has crossed the 200 PPR-point threshold. And by crossed, I mean smashed through at Mach 2.

Simply put, if Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals was on your fantasy roster last week, you probably won. If he was on your opponent's, you likely lost. That's what happens when a player catches 11 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

Not a typo, that's what Chase did last week against the Baltimore Ravens. He's the first player in NFL history to post multiple games with 250 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

While speaking to reporters after the game, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh summed up Chase's evening pretty well.

"I do give him credit. He's a great player," he said. "I was looking for him after the game and couldn't find him. Maybe that was appropriate, you know, I couldn't find him [during the game] either."

Good Matchups

George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,000]

Pickens has flourished since Russell Wilson took over at quarterback—he's ninth in PPR points per game among wide receivers over the past month. This week should be no different. The Ravens are a sieve through the air, as Chase showed last week.

Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans (vs. MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]

Ridley was an offensive bright spot for the Titans Sunday, catching five passes for 84 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That came against one of the NFL's better pass defenses. This week, he faces one of the worst in the Minnesota Vikings.

Bad Matchups

Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts (at NYJ) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]

Due in part to injuries, Downs has emerged as the No. 1 wide receiver for the Colts this year. But while little has gone well for the New York Jets this season, they do rank dead-last in PPR points per game surrendered to wide receivers this season.

Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers (at CHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]

The Bears are another floundering team that has at least defended the pass well. Chicago is eighth in the NFL against the pass, ranks in the bottom five where fantasy matchup is concerned, and there's seemingly a new top wide receiver for the Packers every week this season.

Sleeper

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, New Orleans Saints (vs. CLE) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,400]

Valdes-Scantling hasn't been in New Orleans long, but he had a huge Week 10, catching three passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons. The Browns have allowed the fifth-most PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.

Tight Ends

George Kittle Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images

It has been a weird year at the tight end position in fantasy football leagues, but some semblance of order has been restored 10 weeks in.

The No. 1 tight end is a familiar face. Not only does George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers lead all TEs in fantasy points, but he has also been remarkably consistent. Week 1 was the only time this season that he has posted less than 14 PPR points.

While calling last week's 49ers-Buccaneers game, Tom Brady said the connection between Brock Purdy and Kittle reminds him of his heyday with Rob Gronkowski.

"I had the best tight end in the history of football, in my boy Gronk sitting right there," Brady said. "In all those big-time moments, I was looking for him. Purdy's doing the same thing with Kittle in those moments. He bought a little time in the pocket, then rolled left, and then George, because he's got that size, [allowed Purdy to] kind of lay that ball up in the air. And really a good judgment by Kittle [in the end zone] — catch it, get those feet in, monster play."

Not bad company to be included in.

Good Matchups

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots (vs. LAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,900]

Henry was quiet last week against the Chicago Bears, catching just one pass for 14 yards. But the Patriots are using as much 12 personnel as any team in the league, and he has spent most of the season as a top-10 PPR option at his position.

Jonnu Smith, Miami Dolphins (vs, LV) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,800]

With teams making an effort to take the deep pass away from the Dolphins this season, that has opened up targets underneath for Smith. The Raiders have surrendered the fourth-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.

Bad Matchups

Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars (at DET) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,200]

Engram did OK with Mac Jones at quarterback for the Jags last week, catching six passes for 40 yards against Minnesota. But in addition to the potential issues under center, only one team has allowed fewer PPR points per game to tight ends this season than the Lions.

T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings (at TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value $4,700]

Hockenson appears to be just about 100 percent, and he caught eight passes for 72 yards in last week's win over Jacksonville. But for all the Titans' problems this season, defending the pass hasn't been one. No team has allowed fewer yards per game through the air in 2024.

Sleeper

Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills (vs. KC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,500]

Dalton Kincaid picked up a knee injury last week, returning briefly to the field before being ruled out. If he can't go in Sunday's clash of AFC titans, Knox could see a bump in snaps and targets against a Chiefs team that leads the NFL in PPR points per game allowed to TEs.

1. Travis Kelce, KC (at BUF)

2. George Kittle, SF (vs. SEA)

3. Evan Engram, JAC (at DET)

Kickers and Team Defenses

Jake Bates Alex Slitz/Getty Images

Not that long ago, Jake Bates of the Detroit Lions was working for Acme Brick in Houston.

Now, after a stint in the USFL got him a tryout with the Detroit Lions, the 25-year-old was the hero of their comeback win over the Houston Texans in Week 10.

On a night when Lions quarterback Jared Goff was picked off five times, Bates kicked a 58-yard field goal to tie the game and a 52-yarder to win it. He is a perfect 14-for-14 on field goals this season, and Sunday night's game-winner was his second of the season.

Bates told reporters after the game that his whole situation is rather surreal.

"I've never been hoisted like that," he said. "That was pretty cool just to see the sidelines come to embrace me and stuff was a cool moment."

Bates is just 11th among kickers in fantasy points. But if he keeps banging through long ones on a potent Lions offense, he will be on the matchup radar as we move into the stretch run.

Good Matchups

Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins (vs. LV)

The Dolphins have struggled to generate consistent offense since Tua Tagovailoa returned, but the Raiders could be just what the doctor ordered in that regard. The Raiders are also second in fantasy points per game allowed to kickers.

Minnesota Vikings Defense (at TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,700]

Minnesota's penchant for big plays has kept the Vikings at the top of the fantasy leaderboard among defenses for much of the season. That should remain the case against the Titans, who lead the league in fantasy points per game allowed to the position.

Bad Matchups

Evan McPherson, Cincinnati Bengals (at LAC)

McPherson has been riding something of a fantasy dry spell over the past month or so. Things aren't likely to get easier against a Chargers defense allowing the fewest points per game as a defense and the fewest fantasy points per game to kickers in the AFC.

Pittsburgh Steelers Defense (vs. BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,500]

The Steelers have been solid defensively from both an NFL and fantasy perspective, ranking seventh for the season in fantasy points. But Baltimore's offense has been a buzzsaw, and no team has given up fewer fantasy points per game to defenses this year.

Sleeper

Tennessee Titans Defense (vs. MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,300]

The Titans lead the league in fewest yards per game this year, but that hasn't really translated to fantasy success this season. That could change this week against the Vikings. Minnesota has struggled a bit offensively of late and quarterback Sam Darnold has been turning the ball over.

Top 100 Overall/Flex Rankings

Ja'Marr Chase Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images

Before we get to the top 100 overall players for Week 11 in PPR leagues (a list that can aid with flex lineup decisions), the usual notes, blathering and whatnot.

First off, there are no quarterbacks listed here. If your league has a "superflex" spot and you have a viable second signal-caller, get him in that spot. It's a lot easier for a QB to hit 18-20 points than a running back or wide receiver.

Second, there are four teams on a bye in Week 11. The Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. No Marvin Harrison Jr., Chuba Hubbard, Malik Nabers or Cade Otton this week.

Maybe we'll get Mike Evans back in Week 12.

Finally, if your team is worse than 4-6, then odds are there won't be any playoffs this year. But that doesn't mean you should let your foot off the gas even a little. Work the wire. Make a late trade (this analyst just dealt Derrick Henry—it's a long story). Keep hammering.

Worst case you are doing your leaguemates a favor. "Ghost" teams in the stretch can muck up playoff races. It's unprofessional. Best case? You end the year on a mini-hot streak and bring someone down with you.

Playing spoiler has a certain allure.
