Video: Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles Beats YouTuber Speed in Race for $100,000

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Olympic gold-medal sprinter Noah Lyles defeated YouTuber Speed in their 50-meter race on Wednesday, with $100,000 on the line for charity.

Lyles clearly throttled down in the final 10 meters and let his form get goofy for laughs, keeping the contest close despite protestations from Speed that he won.

After the race, Lyles offered Speed the chance to train with him and race again after a week, but in the 100 meters this time. That, of course, is the race where Lyles won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.
