Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill Retain WWE Women's Tag Titles at Crown Jewel 2024

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated the teams of Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, and Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match to retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at Crown Jewel on Saturday.

In a chaotic contest that saw all eight Superstars take plenty of risks, Belair and Cargill came out on top after hitting Niven with a highly impressive Doomsday Device.

Over the past month, Belair and Cargill have been the iron women of WWE, making regular appearances on SmackDown, Raw and NXT. As a result, they have made quite a few enemies along the way.

The pair saw their first tag title reign come to an end at Clash at the Castle in June when Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre won a Triple Threat tag team match in Glasgow, Scotland, but they recaptured the gold in August at Bash in Berlin.

After a successful title defense against Dawn and Fyre, Belair and Cargill ran the gauntlet in October, successfully defending the belts against Sky and Sane on Raw, as well as Legend and Jackson on SmackDown.

In between those defenses, Bianca and Jade teamed up with Kelani Jordan in NXT, beating Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag.

Green and Niven were ringside when Belair and Cargill faced Legend and Jackson on SmackDown, and their presence clearly distracted Lash and Jakara, which led to an altercation, and the champions ultimately retaining.

Legend and Jackson later faced Sky and Sane on NXT, as Damage CTRL looked to get revenge for Lash and Jakara providing a distraction from the crowd during their loss to Belair and Cargill on Raw.

However, there was no clear winner on NXT since Green and Niven made an unannounced appearance by wiping out everyone in the match.

With so many women's tag teams in WWE clearly having issues with each other, the decision was made to let them all duke it out in a title match at Crown Jewel.

Belair and Cargill faced the toughest challenge of their reign since they had to face three top teams at the same time, but they proved their superiority once again by scoring the victory.
