Monday Night Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced in a letter posted to social media that she is departing WWE.

Irvin thanked WWE fans, wrestlers and staff members in her letter. Her exit comes after her fiance Ricochet left WWE and joined AEW this past summer.

"WWE Universe, my time has come to an end as your Monday Night Raw Ring Announcer," the statement read. "I love you all tremendously and this does not mark the end of my art, I have a lifetime more to share."

Irvin joined WWE in 2021 as a ring announcer for 205 Live. A year later, she was moved to SmackDown Live to replace Greg Hamilton following his departure from the company. She was moved to Monday Night Raw in February 2023.

Irvin quickly became a favorite among fans for her passionate approach to ring announcing. She introduced 14 matches at WrestleMania 40 this past April, earning praise from legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer.

Before her pro wrestling career, Irvin, whose real name is Samantha Johnson, rose to fame as a semi-finalist on Season 10 of America's Got Talent. She also appeared in an episode of I Can See Your Voice on Fox, where she showed off her flute skills. She also had roles in the Las Vegas production Vegas! The Show, portraying Gladys Knight and Tina Turner.

Irvin didn't mention whether she would continue her career in professional wrestling, but she closed her letter by stating, "To my fans, my entire career I've been waiting for you! We are meant to be and I can prove it. Stay tuned."
