NFL Trade Rumors: Rams' Cooper Kupp Eyed By Teams After Davante Adams, Cooper Deals

As the NFL's mid-season trade deadline rapidly approaches on Nov. 5, several teams are considering potentially blockbuster trades, including Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, according to NFL Network Insider's Ian Rapoport.

After the movements of key receivers Davante Adams and Amari Cooper with plenty of time left before the deadline, Kupp is now drawing interest and may be next in line for a change in scenery.

Kupp, who is recovering from a high ankle sprain, has been receiving an abundance of calls in regard to his status.

The interest in Kupp from other teams comes after the Rams' 1-4 start to the season, and it appears that the fate of the eight-year veteran is contingent on how the Rams perform over the next two weeks.

The 31-year-old is currently under a three-year, $80 million contract with the Rams and could be a valuable piece to a possible playoff contending team if he was moved before the deadline.

Kupp and head coach Sean McVay both joined the Rams in 2017, spending eight seasons together. This player-coach connection, combined with Kupp being a fan favorite and a key target for quarterback Matthew Stafford, makes it unclear whether the Rams would be likely to trade Kupp, according to Rapoport.
