The final few months of the calendar year tend to be WWE's most uneventful ahead of WrestleMania season, but recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown have been anything but.

The company has a full slate of shows through the end of the year, starting with Crown Jewel on Nov. 2 followed by Survivor Series on Nov. 30. The return of Saturday Night's Main Event will be treated like a major happening as well on Dec. 14.

Even with Raw being shortened to two hours until its imminent move to Netflix, the red brand has developed several strong stories since SummerSlam. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley waging war against their former faction The Judgment Day has made for must-see television along with the heated CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre rivalry that wrapped up at Bad Blood.

On the SmackDown side of things, The Bloodline continues to dominate Friday nights, but the return of Roman Reigns has made matters infinitely more interesting. The Undisputed WWE Championship scene is also picking up with Cody Rhodes attempting to divide his time between multiple potential challengers waiting in the wings.

These are the top six storylines to track in WWE for the rest of 2024.

6. The Breakout of Bronson Reed

WWE has largely done nothing with Bronson Reed creatively since he was brought back into the fold two years ago, aside from winning the meaningless Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal over WrestleMania 40 weekend.

His vicious attack on Seth Rollins on the post-SummerSlam edition of Raw was his opportunity to break out and he made the most of it. The company capitalized instantly and portrayed him as the monster heel he always should have been.

Reed's rivalry with Braun Strowman was a blast while it lasted, but now he should be fully focused on decimating Seth Rollins after Rollins cost Reed a win against Strowman late last month.

Rollins has a clear path to WrestleMania with the expected feud with CM Punk on the horizon, but what WWE does with Reed during 'Mania season is a lot less certain. That's why it's imperative he impresses in the remainder of this program and beats him at least once.

A win over a multi-time WWE world champion would go a long way in establishing Reed as a force to be reckoned with on the roster and as someone fans should be taking seriously.

5. Rhea Ripley Seeks Revenge on Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley has been out for revenge on Liv Morgan and the rest of The Judgment Day since being betrayed by Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam and subsequently ousted from the group.

While Damian Priest managed to give Finn Bálor his comeuppance by beating him decisively at Bad Blood, Ripley has yet to receive that same satisfaction. During her Women's World Championship clash with Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez returned and attacked Ripley to cause the contest to be thrown out.

Morgan has a match set with Nia Jax for the women's Crown Jewel Championship at Crown Jewel in a few weeks, but the Morgan vs. Ripley rivalry hasn't slowed down in the slightest. They were once again on opposite ends of the ring on the Oct. 14 edition of Raw and will remain at odds until Ripley gets back the belt she was never defeated for.

If WWE is adamant about doing women's WarGames this year, then Ripley assembling a team to combat Morgan and Rodriguez inside the double cages would make the most sense. From there, they can settle their score in one last singles match at Saturday Night's Main Event with Ripley regaining the gold.

4. Tiffany Stratton's Looming Money in the Bank Cash-in

It's been over three months since Tiffany Stratton became Ms. Money in the Bank and she hasn't let the audience forget that she has the contract in her possession.

By aligning herself with WWE Women's champion Nia Jax, she's put herself in prime position to eventually cash it in and capture her coveted title. It's been teased on several occasions, including at Bad Blood when Jax defended against former champ Bayley, but she failed to follow through each time.

There will come a point when she's fed up with Jax's subpar treatment of her and chooses to cash in the contract when Jax least expects it. That could be before 2024 concludes if WWE wants Stratton to walk into WrestleMania season with the gold.

Money in the Bank is a tired concept, but with the women specifically, it has never been utilized this way before. Stratton plays her role exceptionally well and is guaranteed to excel as champion once she cashes in successfully.

Charlotte Flair should be considered a factor as well. She's due back from an injury soon and would be a logical fit in the title picture with Jax and Stratton.

3. Undisputed WWE Championship Chaos

Cody Rhodes has done a tremendous job as Undisputed WWE champion since "finishing the story" at WrestleMania 40 by keeping his reign relevant and having memorable matches.

He was long ready to move past The Bloodline, and now that he has, he's busy with multiple rivals simultaneously, ensuring that the top title picture on SmackDown will stay exciting for the foreseeable future.

Rhodes' Crown Jewel clash with Gunther will be a bona fide banger, but his bigger feud will be with Kevin Owens coming out of the event. He already defeated Owens to retain the title at Bash in Berlin, but Owens' shocking parking lot assault on The American Nightmare after Bad Blood went off the air took their storyline to another level.

Randy Orton's involvement is another element worth keeping an eye on. Although he's currently on the same side as Rhodes and will presumably face Owens within the next month, he too could set his sights on the prestigious prize and plant the seeds for a WrestleMania match between them.

All of that is in addition to The Rock watching from afar and waiting to get his own crack at Cody, having teased unfinished business in the closing moments of Bad Blood.

2. New Day Dissension

The New Day are among the most accomplished factions in WWE history, but having done the same shtick for nearly a decade, they were overdue for a change of pace and their current storyline has been exactly that.

Xavier Woods teasing tension with Kofi Kingston has been fascinating to follow as it was never something they've ever dealt with throughout their time together. Woods has gradually shown more and more signs of a heel turn while Kingston has been adamant about getting back on the same page.

An appearance from Big E should be in the works as it would add even more interest to the angle and give the former WWE champion a recurring role on the show.

Their dissension could go in any number of directions, including them emerging as a united front and winning the tag titles or breaking up entirely. The latter would be the more appealing option, but a rejuvenated New Day hardly hurts Raw's tag team division.

Regardless of what the ultimate endgame is, the audience is invested and thus WWE must stick the landing.

1. O.G. Bloodline, Assemble

Virtually everything in WWE has revolved around The Bloodline for the better part of the past four years, and although there have been times where it's felt that the storyline has peaked, the company has continually found ways to keep it engaging.

Solo Sikoa taking the reins from Roman Reigns as the new leader of The Bloodline and bringing fresh faces into the group wasn't enough, despite how heavily they've been protected. It wasn't until Reigns resurfaced for the first time since SummerSlam that they found their footing.

Reigns enlisting the help of Cody Rhodes and the returning Jimmy Uso led him to beating The Bloodline in a tag team match in the main event of Bad Blood, yet Reigns and Jimmy remain outnumbered with Rhodes now busy with other matters.

The seeds have been planted for them to reunite with Jey Uso, who didn't immediately accept their pleas for help on the latest SmackDown. WWE is taking their time with the inevitable reunion and it will be a massive moment when it happens.

All signs point to a Bloodline civil war inside WarGames at Survivor Series, potentially with former "Honorary Uce" being called upon by Reigns and The Usos to even the odds.
