Fantasy Alert: Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr. Will Play vs. Chargers after Concussion

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will be available against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday in Week 7 after clearing the NFL's concussion protocol, head coach Jonathan Gannon announced.

Harrison left early in the Cardinals Week 6 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. He had not recorded any statistics before suffering the injury.

Harrison was a limited participant in Thursday's practice with a non-contact jersey on, but was a full participant on Friday and did not have and restrictions.

Gannon spoke about Harrison's progress and said that Harrison had taken care of his health during the week and that he was a "true pro" about his recovery process.

"He does everything he needs to do," Gannon said, per Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com. "He takes care of himself and maximizes his buckets. He's a true pro. He had a good week."

Harrison was the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and has 17 catches for 279 yards and four touchdowns thus far in the 2024 season. His breakout performance came in Week 2, when he had four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-10 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

He has not exceeded 70 receiving yards in a game since that matchup but still leads the team in receiving yards and is growing to be the top option for quarterback Kyler Murray.

Arizona is currently 2-4 and will hope that Harrison's return can provide a spark for the team's offensive production.
