B/R's Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Every NFL Week 7 Fantasy Matchup

Gary Davenport

It's Week 7, and that means we'll be halfway home at week's end in most fantasy football leagues.

There are quite a few managers sitting out there at 3-3 or worse who badly need big games from their star players this week. And there is no shortage of intriguing contests on the slate.

There's a third straight game in London. A battle for supremacy in the NFC North between the undefeated Minnesota Vikings and a soaring Detroit Lions team that has scored 40 points in consecutive games. A potential Super Bowl preview in Baltimore Monday night and a rematch of the last Super Bowl the day before.

And, of course, there are the debut outings for a pair of star wideouts who were traded this week: Davante Adams for the New York Jets and Amari Cooper for the Buffalo Bills.

Here, we have broken down the fantasy implications of Week 7, from the first game in New Orleans to the last one in Arizona. Whether it's who to start, who to sit, sleepers, injury updates or significant stats, we have you covered.

It's a one-stop shop for everything you need to log a victory this week.

And all you have to do is keep reading.

Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara Cooper Neill/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Denver Broncos head to New Orleans in good shape injury-wise. There are no fantasy-relevant players of note on the injury report.

The Saints aren't as fortunate. Quarterback Derek Carr (oblique) is doubtful to play. Wide receivers Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Chris Olave (concussion) are both out, with the former likely headed to injured reserve. Tight end Taysom Hill (ribs) is doubtful, and running back Alvin Kamara has been on and off the injury report for weeks.

Other than that, everyone's fine.

Start of the Week

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: Williams had a rough outing in Week 6 against a stout Chargers defense. But the Saints have been much kinder to running backs from a fantasy perspective, surrendering the ninth-most PPR points per game to RBs this year.

Sit of the Week

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,800]: Kamara is almost impossible to sit. But fantasy football's highest-scoring running back faces a Denver defense that ranks fourth in the league in yards per game allowed and will be setting out to stop him with the Saints passing attack ravaged by injuries.

Sleeper

Denver Broncos Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]: In addition to being fourth in yards allowed, Denver's defense is also fourth in scoring, giving up just 16 points per game. With the New Orleans offense decimated by injuries, the Broncos defense should be in excellent position to post a solid fantasy stat line.

Stat to Know

1,300. The number of career receiving yards Cedrick Wilson of the Saints has in five-plus NFL seasons. He will, ostensibly, be the No. 1 receiver for rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler Thursday night, provided he plays. He's been limited in practice this week by an ankle injury of his own.

New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

Trevor Lawrence Richard Heathcote/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars both head to Wembley Stadium in London with injuries in the backfield. Travis Etienne of the Jaguars is a game-time decision after exiting last week's loss to the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury, while Rhamondre Stevenson of the Patriots is questionable after missing Week 6 with a foot issue.

Start of the Week

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: Bigsby showed a couple of weeks ago that he's capable of a big stat line as the Jaguars' lead running back, and Jacksonville will likely try to establish the run against a Patriots defense allowing over 130 yards per game on the ground.

Sit of the Week

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]: The Jaguars have struggled all season to move the ball consistently, and the Patriots have been decent against the pass in 2024, surrendering the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs.

Sleeper

Jacksonville Jaguars Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,800]: Patriots quarterback Drake Maye showed some flashes in his NFL debut a week ago, but we're still talking about the 30th-ranked offense in terms of yards per game and a Pats team allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to defenses this season.

Stat to Know

10. The number of catches Jaguars tight end Evan Engram had last week in his first game action since injuring his hamstring in pre-game warmups in Week 2. He had 102 receiving yards and finished the week third in PPR points among tight ends. He's again a locked-in fantasy TE1.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Darnell Mooney John Byrum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Key Injuries

Sunday's matchup between the Seahawks and Falcons could feature a few offensive fireworks. What it doesn't have much of is fantasy-relevant injuries. The injury report for both teams is clean at the skill positions.

Start of the Week

Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,500]: Pitts' target share in the Atlanta offense this season has been erratic. But he has back-to-back double-digit PPR point games under his belt, and the Seahawks have surrendered the sixth-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.

Sit of the Week

Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,300]: Walker has been solid for fantasy managers this season. He's third in PPR points per game among running backs this year. But the Falcons haven't been an easy matchup for the position, giving up the eighth-fewest PPR points per game.

Sleeper

Ray-Ray McCloud III, WR, Atlanta Falcons [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,400]: McCloud hasn't posted huge numbers this season. But his snap share has been larger than many expected, and given Atlanta's stacked pass-catching corps, opposing defenses can't allocate many resources to covering the seventh-year journeyman.

Stat to Know

19. That's Darnell Mooney's ranking in PPR points among wide receivers after six games this season. Some fantasy analysts (including this writer) tabbed him as a potential "sleeper" entering the season, but anyone who says they saw a role this large in the Atlanta offense coming for the Tulane product is either psychic or pulling your leg.

Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills

Calvin Ridley Andy Lyons/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Tennessee Titans will likely be short a running back Sunday in Buffalo. Tyjae Spears is "week-to-week" with a hamstring injury, which is coachspeak for "he's not playing in Week 7." Neither is wide receiver Treylon Burks.

The Buffalo Bills have a shiny new wide receiver in Amari Cooper, but the team has running back issues of its own. James Cook missed Week 6 with a toe injury, and while he's now off the injury report Ray Davis is questionable with a calf ailment.

Start of the Week

Buffalo Bills Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,500]: Buffalo's defense hasn't been as consistent as the team would like in 2024, but the Titans have a habit of making every opposing defense look good. No team has surrendered more fantasy points per game to team defenses this year.

Sit of the Week

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Tennessee Titans [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,000]: It's bad enough that the Bills have given up the eighth-fewest PPR points to wide receivers this season. But the Titans passing game is such a mess right now that Hopkins and Calvin Ridley can't be trusted even in favorable matchups.

Sleeper

Curtis Samuel, WR, Buffalo Bills [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,300]: Cooper is going to become the No. 1 wide receiver for the Bills in short order, but it will take him a little time to acclimate to a new offense. That should leave the likes of Samuel and Khalil Shakir one more week in the sun before being relegated to fantasy irrelevance.

Stat to Know

14. That's how many receiving yards Ridley has on two catches over the last three games put together. Last week, he was held catchless on eight targets. It marked the first time since 2015 that a player was targeted that many times without a reception.

The last wideout to accomplish the feat? Amari Cooper.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

Tee Higgins Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images

Key Injuries

Little has gone right for the Cleveland Browns this season, but they are expected to have running back Nick Chubb on the field for the first time this season Sunday. However, fellow back Jerome Ford is out due to a hamstring injury he suffered a week ago.

As the Cincinnati Bengals try to dig themselves out of an early-season hole, they will do so at relatively full strength with no offensive players of note on the injury report.

Start of the Week

Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]: The Cincinnati passing game is picking up steam. Higgins had seven grabs for 77 yards last week against the New York Giants. Look for that to continue Sunday in a favorable fantasy matchup for wideouts with the Browns.

Sit of the Week

David Njoku, TE, Cleveland Browns [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]: The Bengals aren't necessarily a poor fantasy matchup for tight ends, but defenses can focus more attention on Njoku with Amari Cooper gone. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is also redefining the concept of awful on a weekly basis.

Sleeper

Cincinnati Bengals Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]: The Bengals played easily their best defensive game of the season in last week's win over the New York Giants, and now they face a floundering Browns team that has given up eight more sacks than any other in the NFL.

Stat to Know

170.0. The number of passing yards Watson has averaged this season. That ranks 28th in the league, behind such fantasy luminaries as Andy Dalton of the Carolina Panthers and Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos. Watson has shown zero indication he's going to break out of his funk, and the entire Cleveland offense has reached "stay far away" territory for fantasy managers.

Houston Texans at Green Bay Packers

Joe Mixon Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Green Bay Packers have little margin for error in a tough NFC North, and they also have a banged-up wideout corps. Dontayvion Wicks is questionable to play Sunday due to a sprained shoulder, while Jayden Reed briefly left last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury.

The Texans are in better shape. Wide receiver Nico Collins remains on injured reserve with a bad hamstring, but he's the only Houston player of note on offense who will sit in Week 7.

Start of the Week

Joe Mixon, RB, Houston Texans [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,200]: When healthy, Mixon has been a major part of Houston's offense this season, and the Packers have struggled stopping the run. No team in the NFC has given up more yards per game on the ground than the 167.2 Green Bay has allowed.

Sit of the Week

Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]: The Texans haven't been great against the run this season, but they have been about 50 yards per game better than the Packers. If Green Bay is going to win this matchup, it will be on the right arm of quarterback Jordan Love.

Sleeper

Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,200]: Schultz hasn't been as big a part of the Texans passing game as he was a year ago, but that could change at Lambeau Field. Through six weeks, the Packers are giving up the most PPR points per game in the NFC to tight ends.

Stat to Know

Four. That's how many consecutive games Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs has with double-digit PPR points, including a 6/77/1 line last week on seven targets. He also has at least seven targets in four straight games. He has stepped into the role of Houston's No. 1 receiver with Collins on injured reserve.

Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts

Raheem Mostert Adam Hunger/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Miami Dolphins will be without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for at least one more week—he's not eligible to come off injured reserve until Week 8. Running back De'Von Achane also hasd a concussion, but he has cleared the NFL's protocol and will play in Week 7.

The Colts have injury issues of their own. Quarterback Anthony Richardson missed Week 6 despite practicing, and while he's now practicing fully who he'll have at wide receiver is in question--Alec Pierce (shoulder), Josh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman Jr. (back are all questionable.

There are also problems at running back. Jonathan Taylor will miss another game with a high-ankle sprain.

Start of the Week

Raheem Mostert, RB, Miami Dolphins [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: With the passing game stuck in neutral and Achane in the concussion protocol, Miami's chances of winning Sunday may hinge largely on a large dose of Mostert against a Colts run defense allowing 117.7 yards per game on the ground.

Sit of the Week

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]: Pittman impressed last week by gutting through a back injury many expected to sideline him. But this week's matchup is a shaky one, as the Dolphins have allowed the third-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers in 2024.

Sleeper

Jonnu Smith, TE, Miami Dolphins [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,400]: Trusting any Dolphins pass-catcher is an iffy proposition with Tyler Huntley under center, especially one who has been as hit-or-miss as Smith. But the matchup is there. The Colts have surrendered the fourth-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.

Stat to Know

149. The number of receiving yards Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle has amassed in the last four games combined after catching five passes for 109 yards in the season opener. Tyreek Hill's numbers are down as well, but no Miami player will be happier to see Tagovailoa return than Waddle.

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings

Jameson Williams Perry Knotts/Getty Images

Key Injuries

As the Minnesota Vikings attempt to remain undefeated, they hope to do so at relatively full strength. Running back Aaron Jones is nursing a hip injury, but he's practicing. Tight end T.J. Hockenson is also practicing, but he has yet to be activated from injured reserve

The Lions suffered a devastating injury on defense last week when edge-rusher Aidan Hutchinson broke his leg, but they are in good shape offensively for this high-stakes NFC North showdown.

Start of the Week

Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Williams isn't racking up catches, but he has long touchdowns in back-to-back games. Three in a row is a real possibility Sunday, as the Vikings sport the NFC's worst pass defense and have given up the most PPR points per game to wide receivers in 2024.

Sit of the Week

Aaron Jones, RB, Minnesota Vikings [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]: Just because Jones is trending toward playing doesn't mean he should be in starting lineups. The Lions are giving up just 83.2 yards per game on the ground and allowing the third-fewest PPR points to running backs this season.

Sleeper

Jalen Nailor, WR, Minnesota Vikings [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,500]: Nailor is something of a desperation play. He didn't receive a single target in Minnesota's last game, but he is the No. 3 wideout for a Vikings team that will to throw to win against a beatable Detroit secondary.

Stat to Know

1962. That's the last time the Detroit Lions scored 40 or more points in back-to-back weeks—a feat the team duplicated with last week's mudstomping of the Cowboys in Dallas. The Lions are playing as well offensively as any team in the NFL, so if there's a Detroit player on your roster, he likely should be in the starting lineup as well.

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Luke Hales/Getty Images

Key Injuries

As the Giants prepare to host the rival Eagles, they opened the week with a pair of potentially significant injuries. But wide receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) and running back Devin Singletary (groin) are off the injury report and good to go.

The Eagles will be taking on the G-Men without their starting tight end. Dallas Goedert has been ruled out for Week 7 with a hamstring injury.

Start of the Week

Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Even if Nabers plays, Robinson has established himself as a viable fantasy starter in his own right and the Eagles are again struggling to stop the pass. Philly has surrendered the sixth-most PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.

Sit of the Week

Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]: Tracy has been excellent for the Giants in Singletary's stead, but he could lose touches to Singletary this week. And even if he doesn't, a so-so matchup and the odds of a negative game script rob the rookie of much of his Week 7 fantasy upside.

Sleeper

Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,100]: Nabers' return would knock much of the shine off Slayton, but Daniel Jones has been targeting the 27-year-old with regularity, and all it takes is one long catch to make Slayton a decent "flex" play for fantasy managers.

Stat to Know

180. That's the number of yards A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith of the Eagles combined for in last week's win over the Cleveland Browns, with both wideouts finding the end zone. The Eagles still managed only 20 points, but there's no denying the Philly offense is far more explosive with Brown and Smith back on the field.

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams Sean M. Haffey/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Rams come out of the bye week hopeful that a key offensive component will return in Week 7. It's far from guaranteed that wide receiver Cooper Kupp will return from his high ankle sprain, but his workout with trainers Monday went well, he practiced in a limited fashion all week and is questionable.

Fellow wideout Jordan Whittington, who has stepped up with Kupp out, is also questionable with a shoulder injury.

The Raiders traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets this week, and they will probably also be without fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers due to an ankle injury. The Week 7 status of running back Zamir White (groin) will likely come down to a game-time decision.

Start of the Week

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams [DraftKings DFS Value: $8,100]: With the Rams' pass-catchers all kinds of beat up, Williams essentially has been their offense the past few games. Now he draws a Raiders defense giving up over 140 yards per game on the ground. He's a locked-in top-five RB who may finish the week as the fantasy RB1.

Sit of the Week

Jakobi Meyers, WR, Las Vegas Raiders [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,400]: Frankly, there are no obvious Week 7 "sits" in this game—both the Raiders and Rams have been atrocious defensively this season. But Meyers is banged up and will receive added defensive attention with Adams gone, and Aidan O' Connell sucks much of the upside out of the Vegas passing game.

Sleeper

Los Angeles Rams Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]: Yes, the Rams are a bad defensive team, but the Raiders can't run the ball, have struggled to protect the quarterback and their best passing-game weapon is back catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. Someone give Maxx Crosby a hug.

Stat to Know

700.3. The number of yards the Raiders and Rams have combined to allow defensively this season. The question in Week 7 will be whether either injury-depleted offense can take advantage of its opponent's defensive deficiencies. This game could easily be a shootout, but it could also be an unwatchable mess.

Carolina Panthers at Washington Commanders

Terry McLaurin Mark Goldman/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Carolina Panthers were short their best pass-catcher at Wednesday's practice, with wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ankle, groin) missing practice. But the receiver has been playing through the injuries and is not believed to be in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game.

The Commanders were without starting running back Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) in last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. But he got in a limited practice sessions all week and appears to be trending toward a Week 7 return.

Start of the Week

Brian Robinson Jr, RB, Washington Commanders [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]: If Robinson doesn't play, fantasy managers can slot Austin Ekeler here. But whoever Washington's lead back is Sunday should shine against a pitiful Panthers defense giving up a whopping 153.5 yards per game on the ground.

Sit of the Week

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,800]: This is another "start 'em if you've got 'em" game between a pair of bad defenses. But McLaurin's fantasy upside in Week 7 could be capped if the Commanders get a big lead and take the air out of the ball in the second half.

Sleeper

Washington Commanders Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,400]: The Commanders have been inconsistent defensively this season, but two out of the team's last three defensive efforts have been solid. And the Panthers have struggled with offensive miscues for much of the season.

Stat to Know

107.1. The passer rating for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, which ranks fourth in the NFL. He is completing a league-high 75.3 percent of his passes this season, has three times as many touchdown passes as interceptions and ranks third among all signal-callers in fantasy points. He has been everything fantasy managers had hoped for and more.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers

Patrick Mahomes David Eulitt/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The San Francisco 49ers will likely be without kicker Jake Moody (ankle) Sunday, but running back Jordan Mason (shoulder) has a chance to play after getting in limited practice.

Rookie wideout Ricky Pearsall will make his 2024 debut Sunday--he's off the injury report. He'll take the place of Jauan Jennings, who has been ruled out with a hip issue.

The Chiefs also have their fair share of injuries, with wide receivers Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown and running back Isiah Pacheco all on injured reserve. But there are no new issues to report for the two-time defending champs.

Start of the Week

Kareem Hunt, RB, Kansas City Chiefs [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]: Hunt has emerged as the clear-cut featured back for the Chiefs, earning 28 touches last week against the Saints. The 49ers are seventh in the league in run defense, but they are just middle of the pack in terms of PPR points allowed to running backs this year.

Sit of the Week

Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]: The target shares for 49ers receivers have been all over the place this season, but with Aiyuk likely to draw Trent McDuffie in coverage, this feels like a week when Deebo Samuel, Jauan Jennings or tight end George Kittle carry the San Francisco passing attack.

Sleeper

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Kansas City Chiefs [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,000]: Is Smith-Schuster going to catch seven passes for 130 yards again this week? Probably not. But he appears to have the confidence of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, so riding the hot hand might not be a bad idea.

Stat to Know

3.6. That's how many air yards per completion Mahomes is averaging this season, which would rank dead-last in the Next Gen Stats era (since 2016), per Robert Mays of The Athletic. At the opposite end of that spectrum, Brock Purdy of the 49ers has averaged 9.1 air yards per completion this year, which would be the most over that same span.

New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers

Breece Hall Luke Hales/Getty Images

Key Injuries

There's drama galore ahead of Sunday's meeting between the Jets and Steelers in Pittsburgh.

The Jets acquired a new wide receiver in Davante Adams this week, but he has missed multiple games with a hamstring injury, although he plans to make his Jets debut this week. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn't practice Wednesday, but there has been nothing to indicate he's in danger of missing Week 7.

For the Steelers, Russell Wilson is off the injury report, practicing with the first team and on track for his first start for Pittsburgh under center. There are questions in the backfield, though, with RBs Najee Harris missing practice time this week and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) ruled out again.

Start of the Week

Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,800]: The Jets wideouts may be getting all the run this week, but Hall had himself a day against the Buffalo Bills last week, racking up 169 total yards on 23 touches. Rodgers and Adams may be more famous, but Hall is foundation for offensive success for Gang Green.

Sit of the Week

George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: Pickens has disappointed this season, and fantasy managers hopeful that a change at quarterback will change his fortunes may want to wait another week. Sauce Gardner and the Jets have allowed the fourth-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.

Sleeper

Allen Lazard, WR, New York Jets [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]: Lazard had a big game against the Bills, catching six passes for 114 yards and a score. Davante Adams isn't the only Jets wideout with a built-in rapport with Rodgers, and Adams and Garrett Wilson are going to draw a lot of attention from opposing defenses.

Stat to Know

669. The number of passes Adams caught over eight seasons in Green Bay with Rodgers. Adams isn't the player he used to be, and his arrival in New York is a gutpunch to Garrett Wilson's fantasy value. But you can't accuse the Jets of sitting on their hands, and things in the Big Apple are about to get very interesting.

Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans Kevin Sabitus/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Baltimore Ravens may be the NFL's hottest offense, in part because they are close to 100 percent. No players of note to fantasy managers are on the injury report.

The Buccaneers aren't quite so fortunate. Running back Rachaad White missed last week's win over the New Orleans Saints with a foot injury and is questionable for Week 7. However, given how well the Bucs ran the ball without White last week, that might be addition by subtraction.

Start of the Week

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,200]: Chris Godwin has outscored Evans to this point in the season, but a smash week from Evans is overdue. A Week 7 matchup with a Baltimore Ravens defense that ranks 31st against the pass is a good spot for it to happen.

Sit of the Week

Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: Irving and Sean Tucker both excelled last week against the Saints. But as easy as the Ravens are to throw on, they are equally different to run the ball against. No team allows fewer yards per game on the ground this season.

Sleeper

Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,300]: Like the Ravens, the Buccaneers are an easier team to throw on than run on. And in Monday night's potential Super Bowl preview (it really is...who knew?), Bateman is going to get behind the defense for a long touchdown. Book it.

Stat to Know

15. The league-leading number of touchdown passes Tampa quarterback Baker Mayfield has thrown this season. That's 2.5 times more scoring strikes than Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs has at this point. Mayfield can't keep having three-pick games like last week, but he is every bit the MVP candidate Lamar Jackson is at this point.

Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals

JK Dobbins Brooke Sutton/Getty Images

Key Injuries

The Arizona Cardinals will host the Los Angeles Chargers Monday night potentially short a top offensive weapon, with wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the concussion protocol. However, Harrison practiced in full Friday.

However, the Redbirds have also picked up a receiver after veteran Zay Jones was activated following a suspension to open the season.

The Chargers aren't without pass-catching issues of their own, though. Tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) and wide receivers Quentin Johnston (ankle) and Ladd McConkey (hip) are all questionable for Week 7.

Start of the Week

JK Dobbins, RB, Los Angeles Chargers [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]: Dobbins has been one of fantasy football's more pleasant surprises this season. Fantasy's No. 15 running back after six weeks should keep the good times rolling in Week 7, as the Cardinals have allowed the 10th-most PPR points per game to running backs this year.

Sit of the Week

James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,700]: Conner is coming off a down game in which game script turned against the veteran quickly. The sledding won't be much easier at home against the Chargers, which are one of six teams giving up less than 100 yards on the ground per game this year.

Sleeper

Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,800]: McConkey paced the Chargers in targets last week, and he appears to have swiftly established a rapport with quarterback Justin Herbert. The Cardinals have given up the eighth-most PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.

Stat to Know

31. That's where Herbert ranks in terms of fantasy points per game among quarterbacks after six weeks. He hasn't necessarily played poorly, but his 237 passing yards last week against the Denver Broncos were a season high, and he has thrown multiple touchdown passes in a game only once.
