Lakers' Austin Reaves: I Watched LeBron James, USA Rally Past Serbia on Side of Road

While Team USA was in Paris competing for gold, Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves was on the side of the road.

"I was going to golf… and I looked at the score and it was like a 10 or eight (difference) or something at the time," Reaves told reporters. "I stopped on the side of the road basically in the middle of traffic (and) watched the game."

As Team USA crawled back from a 17-point deficit against Serbia in the semifinals, Reaves risked being late for his tee time to witness the magic.

"The fourth quarter was some of the best basketball that I have ever watched," Reaves continued. "Everybody was locked in defensively (and) I think it was other than a couple of offensive rebounds that Serbia got, it was almost a perfect fourth quarter for the U.S.A team."

Steph Curry exploded during the matchup, finishing with 36 points, including nine three-pointers, along with eight rebounds, one steal and two assists. LeBron James added a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to the mix.

As the rest of the world would agree, "It was beautiful," Reaves added.
