The new logo for WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix was seemingly unveiled this week in an unexpected manner.
Rather than WWE revealing the logo on social media or its website, it has been spotted on the packaging of some newly released WWE action figures by Mattel.
The Case Fresh podcast posted a photo Friday of three new WWE Main Event two-packs featuring John Cena and Austin Theory, Shawn Michaels and the British Bulldog, and Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio:
On the upper righthand corner of the packaging, the Netflix logo can be seen, as can what appears to be a new Raw logo featuring "Raw" written in white with red lines above and below it.
The current Raw logo is entirely red with a red arrow located underneath the text.
Back in January, Variety's Joe Otterson reported that WWE and Netflix had reached a 10-year deal worth $500 million per year for Raw to stream live every Monday night on the platform.
It was a landmark agreement for WWE since Raw had been WWE's flagship show since its inception in 1993 and had always been available on cable.
USA Network filled the void left by Raw's departure by agreeing to a deal with WWE for SmackDown, while NXT got its own deal with The CW, which began this week.
Raw will continue to air on USA Network for the rest of 2024 before officially making the move to Netflix in January.
Jan. 6 is the official debut date for Raw on Netflix, which will begin a new era for WWE, but also for Netflix, which has never before featured a show that streams live every single week.
