MrBeast Teases Potential WWE Involvement

The most popular YouTuber in the world raised some eyebrows this week with his comments regarding a possible WWE appearance.

During an interview on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News) on Thursday, MrBeast was asked about potentially doing something with WWE:

While MrBeast didn't confirm or deny it, he did suggest that it's a possibility by saying, "I mean, spoilers."

MrBeast's main YouTube channel has 318 million subscribers, which is the most of any creator on the site. Given his popularity and reach, it would come as little surprise if WWE wants to work with him.

WWE has long brought in celebrities for guest appearances and even matches, as the company is always trying to get mainstream attention.

Paul is a perfect example of that, as WWE had him make several appearances before having his first match at WrestleMania 38. It went over so well and he was such a natural that he eventually signed a contract with the company to be a wrestler.

He has continued to impress from an in-ring perspective since then and even had a successful run as United States champion.

It is unclear if MrBeast would have any interest in getting in the ring, but if not, he could play a supporting role to Paul on WWE programming at some point since they are real-life business partners.

Rumors on WWE Bad Blood Main Event, Card

Despite prior speculation to the contrary, WWE has reportedly settled on a star-studded tag team match to serve as the main event of Saturday's Bad Blood premium live event.

According to PWInsider.com (h/t Carrier), it has been confirmed by sources that the tag bout pitting Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will go on last at Bad Blood.

There was previously some thought that the Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre would be the headliner, but that match is instead slated to open the show, PWInsider.com.

In addition to debates about the main event, the decision to leave the World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Sami Zayn off the Bad Blood card has been highly discussed as well.

Rather than Gunther and Zayn clashing at the PLE, their title match will take place next week on Raw, presumably in the main event.

Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestleTalk), WWE decision makers decided that Bad Blood didn't "need" the match, so the decision was made to use it to boost ticket sales and ratings for Raw instead.

Meltzer noted that the stance is correct in theory since WWE has had a great deal of success selling tickets to Bad Blood without the Gunther vs. Zayn match.

In addition to Punk vs. McIntyre and the main event tag team match, Bad Blood also features Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship, Nia Jax vs. Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship and a grudge match between Damian Priest and Finn Bálor.

Given how stacked the card is, WWE can afford to put a world title match on Raw where it will likely get a more prominent spot on the card and more time.

Ospreay, Ricochet Respond to Criticism of AEW Match

Will Ospreay and Ricochet renewed their rivalry on Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite in a match for Ospreay's International Championship.

The match was initially ruled a draw when Ospreay and Ricochet pinned each other at the same time, but after it restarted, Ospreay ended up winning by disqualification when Konosuke Takeshita interfered.

While the first AEW match between Ospreay and Ricochet was well received by some fans, others expressed their belief that it was too choreographed and didn't come across as if it was an actual fight.

Both Ospreay and Ricochet made their feelings known on social media with Ospreay thanking his fans and detractors, while Ricochet clapped back against the idea that the match "is not wrestling."

Before both of them became huge stars in the United States, Ricochet and Ospreay faced each other in multiple matches in Japan and the United Kingdom.

Those matches helped them both make a name for themselves, as the incredible athleticism they displayed resulted in highlights of the matches going viral.

Ricochet parlayed that into a successful run in WWE, while Ospreay went on to become IWGP world heavyweight champion in New Japan Pro-Wrestling before signing with AEW.

When Ricochet left WWE for AEW in August, a reprisal of his rivalry with Ospreay was immediately hyped up by fans, and AEW didn't waste much time in making it happen.

Given how their match ended in Dynamite, more matches between them are likely in store, which will almost certainly garner both praise and criticism.
