Bold Predictions for CM Punk, Roman Reigns and WWE Bad Blood 2024 Match Card

Donald Wood

The return of Bad Blood to the WWE premium live event calendar is a major win for wrestling fans. Some of the biggest names in the sport will go to battle, including one bout contested inside Hell in a Cell.

With two women's championship matches headlining the card and other performers such as CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes being heavily featured, it's clear WWE Creative is looking to make a statement with Saturday's event at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Here are some bold match card predictions for the 2024 edition of the classic pay-per-view.

Bad Blood 2024 Match Card

Women's World Championship: Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley

Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

WWE Women's Championship: Nia Jax vs. Bayley

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

Jimmy Uso Makes the Save for Rhodes and Reigns

Rhodes and Reigns are the ultimate unlikely bedfellows, which could result in tension between them during their tag team match against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Add Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa looming in the background, and Bad Blood would be the ideal spot for Jimmy Uso to make his triumphant return to WWE and get revenge on the men who beat him down.

Jimmy hasn't been seen on WWE programming television since The Bloodline betrayed him on the April 12 episode of SmackDown. He hasn't wrestled a match since he lost to his brother, Jey Uso, at WrestleMania 40.

When Rhodes and Reigns are being attacked and all hope looks lost for them at Bad Blood, the former tag team champion should make his way through the crowd and attack Tonga and Loa first, before taking out Fatu from behind and coming face-to-face with Sikoa.

The edge that Jimmy provides at that moment would be enough to help Reigns and Rhodes earn the victory. It would also ensure The OTC has backup as he continues to fight to regain the power of The Bloodline.

Drew McIntyre Takes Out CM Punk

While WWE will almost certainly book Reigns and Rhodes in the main event of Bad Blood, the contest that deserves the honor most is the Hell in a Cell match pitting Punk against his bitter rival, Drew McIntyre.

As much as the story has been set up for The Best in the World to get vengeance on McIntyre for all the things he has said, the Scot needs the victory to retain his credibility as a viable world title threat.

McIntyre is six years younger than Punk and a big part of WWE's future. Asking Punk to put The Scottish Warrior over in one of the biggest matches in the 45-year-old's career would be another way to cement his status as one of the best in the industry today.

As long as Punk stands toe-to-toe with McIntyre and not only comes out healthy but also looks strong against the better all-around athlete, he can easily take a hard-fought loss and wouldn't hurt his credibility.
