Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony faced off on the Nike EYBL tour, with their famous fathers in attendance.

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were seen supporting their sons in an AAU matchup during a video released by Overtime. The younger James played for the Strive For Greatness team, while Anthony's son suited up as a member of Team Melo.

Anthony ranks as the No. 6 shooting guard and No. 28 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings. He has already received offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida State, Rutgers, Syracuse and USC.

James owns the No. 27 shooting guard spot as well as the No. 156 overall slot in the 2025 class and has earned offers from Duquesne and Ohio State (via 247Sports).

The two shooting guards have developed a rivalry as they progress through AAU action, but it hasn't affected their mutual respect off the court.

"He's a sharpshooter, he can really shoot," Anthony said about James (h/t SI.com's Farbod Esnaashari). "When he gets hot, he really don't miss. He bouncy. He more bouncier than me, I ain't even going to lie. I'm not even going to say it looks like his pops, but it kinda do look like his pops when he dunk a little bit. We basically grew up together even though he lived in LA, but that's really like family. That's like my cousin."

Prior to the incredible NBA careers by their fathers, LeBron and Carmelo also matched up against each other in high school. They were later selected with the No. 1 and No. 3 overall picks in the 2003 draft, earning 30 combined All-Star nods.

With Anthony retired and James currently the association's oldest active player, their sons are preparing for their journeys to the NBA with their fathers cheering them on.
