The Miami Heat had some fun leaning into the intrigue surrounding basketball's biggest power couple.

The team shared a photo of star Bam Adebayo with the caption, "A'random photo of Bam on this lovely Sunday," to reference the rumored relationship between him and newly crowned WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson.

Miami-Dade County mayor Daniella Levine Cava pretty much let the cat out of the bag when she presented Adebayo with a symbolic key to the city. She noted Wilson was in attendance and added, "I guess that has something to do with Bam and the Heat."

The remark immediately caught the attention of fans. Even Sydney Colson, Wilson's teammate on the Aces, couldn't avoid partaking in the speculation.

While neither Adebayo nor Wilson has confirmed the relationship, they haven't denied the rumors, either. They were reportedly spotted together in Indianapolis as Wilson was in town to play the Indiana Fever.

For Wilson, Las Vegas' first-round playoff series with the Seattle Storm is the primary focus of her attention, but she had to take a moment to celebrate her unanimous MVP triumph. She's only the second WNBA player to achieve that feat and is now the fourth player with three MVPs.

Considering she only turned 28 in August, a record-setting fourth MVP award is attainable before Wilson hangs up the sneakers. When that happens, perhaps her relationship with Adebayo will be official.
