Titans HC on Will Levis Viral Video: I Have Blackout Moments Where I'll Lose My Mind

After getting caught on camera berating quarterback Will Levis following his costly turnover in Sunday's loss to the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan is defending his moment of frustration.

"I don't regret my feelings about it and how I felt in the moment," Callahan said Monday, per ESPN's Turron Davenport. "I am generally pretty composed. That one just set me off, and I, I'm human like everybody else. I have blackout moments where I'll lose my mind."

Levis and the Titans put together a 10-play drive at the start of the second quarter to get deep into Jets territory. On third and goal from the 6-yard line, Levis tried to escape pressure but tripped and then threw a backward pass as he was falling to the ground. The ball was recovered by the defense, and Callahan was seen yelling, "What the f--k are you doing?" to Levis as he came off the field.

This isn't a first-time instance for the second-year quarterback. In Tennessee's season opener against the Chicago Bears, Levis also threw an errant pass as he was falling down that was intercepted and returned for a touchdown, helping lead to a 24-17 loss.

Levis admitted that he needs to have more poise in those situations, as they can decide the result of games.

"It's got to be something that's more second nature to me," Levis said after Sunday's loss to the Jets. "I'm going to do everything I can to rewire my brain to make sure that when I'm in those situations, I'm not making those decisions."

Levis and the Titans will try to end their two-game skid and earn their first win of the season when they return to action in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers.
