Seven of the eight WNBA playoff teams have been decided going into the final week of the regular season.
The New York Liberty are in pole position to be the No. 1 overall seed in the postseason with the Minnesota Lynx close behind in second.
All of the playoff attention will be on the other side of the standings in the next week, as three teams make their claim for the No. 8 seed.
The Washington Mystics, Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky are all tied at 13-25. Washington enters the week with the edge on a tiebreaker.
Updated Standings
1. New York (31-7)
2. Minnesota (29-9)
3. Connecticut (27-11)
4. Las Vegas (25-13)
5. Seattle (24-14)
6. Indiana (20-19)
7. Phoenix (18-20)
8. Washington (13-25)
9. Chicago (13-25)
10. Atlanta (13-25)
11. Dallas (9-30)

Washington, Chicago and Atlanta will take the fight for the No. 8 seed down to the closure of the regular season on Thursday.
Some clarity will be gained on Tuesday since the Sky visit the Dream in one of five games on the schedule.
Chicago won the last two regular-season meetings with Atlanta, but it had Angel Reese on the floor for both of those victories.
The Sky were blown out by Washington and Minnesota in their last two games, and while Atlanta is on a three-game losing streak, the Dream have played a handful of close contests lately.
Atlanta took the Indiana Fever to overtime last week and fell by three to the Mystics in its last game.
The winner of the Sky-Dream matchup is not guaranteed to qualify for the postseason, though, because of the final day games for the three contenders for the No. 8 seed.
Chicago has to visit the Connecticut Sun, Atlanta is on the road against the Liberty and Washington closes at home with Indiana.
The Mystics host the Liberty on Tuesday in a game that could preview the first round since New York is on top of the standings.
None of the three contenders for the No. 8 seed are expected to beat the Liberty in the first round, but they should enter that first-round matchup with the mentality that anything could happen.
Tuesday's other game to watch takes place in Seattle, as the Seattle Storm need a win to pull level with the Las Vegas Aces for the No. 4 seed.
All of the other clinched playoff teams have multiple games between them, so most of the non-8 seed attention will be on the Aces and Storm.
Las Vegas can secure the No. 4 seed with a win in Seattle, while a Storm win brings that competition down to Thursday, The Aces host the Dallas Wings and the Storm close with a road trip to face the Phoenix Mercury.
Bracket Prediction
No. 8 Atlanta vs. No. 1 New York
No. 7 Phoenix vs. No. 2 Minnesota
No. 6 Indiana vs. No. 3 Connecticut
No. 5 Seattle vs. No. 4 Las Vegas
