Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter Duo Thrills CFB Fans in Deion, Colorado's Win vs. CSU

The NFL draft stock of Colorado stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter is continuing to climb.

Sanders and Hunter combined for two touchdowns on Saturday night as Deion Sanders coached the Buffaloes to a 28-9 win over Colorado State.

Sanders connected on 36 of 49 pass attempts for 310 yards and four touchdowns.

Hunter meanwhile recorded 13 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver, while making five tackles and an interception as a cornerback.

Hunter's work on both sides of the ball helped the Buffaloes defense achieve what was arguably its strongest performance of the season.

Colorado State quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi was limited to 22-of-38 passing and saw two of his passes picked off in the second half.

The win may have helped both Sanders and Hunter improve their draft stock as the two Colorado stars take another step closer to the 2025 NFL draft.

Colorado improved to 2-1 with the team's most convincing victory of the season yet following the Buffaloes' close season-opening win over North Dakota State and last week's loss to rival Nebraska.

The connection between Sanders and Hunter will be back on display next Saturday when the Buffaloes return home to face Baylor.
