The Oregon Ducks showed off the uniform combination they will be wearing for Saturday's rivalry game against Oregon State.

As seen in the following photos, the Ducks are wearing what they have dubbed the "Mighty Oregon" unis featuring green helmets, white jerseys and green pants, along with the phrase "Mighty Oregon" inside the collar:

The 128th edition of the rivalry game known as the Civil War will be played at the Beavers' Reser Stadium in Corvallis, starting Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Oregon first revealed the "Mighty Oregon" uniforms last month, and they are inspired by the unis the Ducks wore during a 1997 win over Washington when Oregon overcame a 24-6 deficit and beat the Huskies on "The Catch" by Pat Johnson, per Ryan Clarke of The Oregonian.

The Ducks have long been known and celebrated for their many different uniform combinations, but the "Mighty Oregon" fit means a little more than some of the others due to the history that comes along with it.

Oregon's new take on the classic uniform could go down in history in its own right if the Ducks turn in a strong performance against their rivals.

While the Ducks are 68-49-10 all-time against Oregon State, including winning eight straight meetings from 2008 to 2015, things have been much tighter since then.

In the past eight Civil War games, Oregon holds a fairly narrow 5-3 edge. Things have been even closer over the past four years with the teams splitting 2-2.

Last season in Eugene, the Ducks blew out the Beavers 31-7, but things could be different in Corvallis where Oregon has lost two in a row.

Oregon's first two games this season were much closer than anticipated, as it outlasted Idaho 24-14 and Boise State 37-34.

That led to the Ducks dropping to No. 9 in the Associated Press Top 25 Rankings, but they are still favored to beat 2-0 Oregon State on the road.
