Boulder police arrested a man on Thursday night who had been accused of a hit-and-run crash in which he drove onto Folsom Field, home of the Colorado Buffaloes football team.

Per Melissa Reeves of 9News, Karl Haglund was arrested on nine charges after police responded to a call about "several hit-and-run crashes involving the same pickup truck near Foothills Parkway and Arapahoe Avenue."

A university spokesman told ESPN's Adam Rittenberg that no one on campus was injured.

Haglund was reported by witnesses as having been involved in at least two hit-and-run crashes, hitting a couple of trees and a sign before driving away from the scene.

Witnesses told police several people tried to prevent Haglund from leaving the scene, with one person almost being struck by the blue truck he was driving.

As officers were in pursuit, Haglund approached Stadium Drive when university police attempted to stop him. He rammed an entry gate into Folsom Field before eventually getting out of his truck and surrendering to police.

The charges against Haglund include criminal attempt vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, vehicular eluding, three counts of leaving the scene of a crash after damage, failure to obey a traffic control device, criminal mischief between $100,000-150,000, trespassing and obstruction of a peace officer.

It's unclear if there was any damage done to the football field.

The Buffaloes are traveling to Fort Collins for a matchup with Colorado State at Canvas Stadium on Saturday. Their next home game is against Baylor on Sept. 21.
