AJ Dybantsa remains the top player over Cameron Boozer in the 2025 recruiting class going into the fall season.
In the updated rankings from 247Sports, Dybantsa and Boozer are the top two prospects in the nation. Darryn Peterson, Nate Ament and Darius Acuff Jr. round out the top five.
Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, is rated as a 4-star prospect and No. 34 overall player.
Adam Finkelstein of 247Sports explained that Dybantsa is the best long-term player in the class, because he is more "naturally dynamic as a jumbo-wing, gifted scorer and shot creator" while Boozer's game is described as being "reliable" thanks to his versatility and impact on winning.
Dybantsa and Boozer squared off when the Oakland Soldiers and Nightrydas Elite met in the EYBL championship in July.
The Elite won that game 71-62 behind Boozer's double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also dished out five assists. Dybantsa more than held his own with 25 points and six rebounds.
The son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, Cameron is already built like a pro. He's listed at 6'9" and 235 pounds, with 247Sports recruiting analyst Eric Bossi comparing him to Paolo Banchero at the same age because he is "capable of scoring in the low post or facing the rim" with rebounding and passing skills.
Anthony is an improving scorer as he starts to physically mature. Bossi noted the 17-year-old ranked in the top 90 percent of all players in the pick and roll during the 2024 Nike EYBL.
The highest-ranked player in the 2025 class who has already committed to a college is Darius Acuff Jr. The IMG Academy standout is the No. 5 overall recruit and will play for John Calipari at Arkansas.
