LeBron James, NFL Fans Rip Field Condition amid Eagles vs. Packers Game in Brazil

Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles players have encountered trouble finding their footing on the Corinthians Arena field for their regular season opening matchup in São Paulo, Brazil, with slips routinely occurring during the game.

Examples included Eagles running back Saquon Barkley slipping on his first carry for a loss of five yards and Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks losing his footing on a potential long gain.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and others have chimed in on the matter, which quickly became one of the matchup's preeminent talking points.

There was plenty of action otherwise in this game, as the two teams notably combined for 36 points in the first half. Barkley scored two touchdowns, and Packers wideout Jayden Reed added two as well.

But the slipping and sliding clearly caught many fans' attention as the Packers and Eagles kicked off their seasons.
