Tom Brady had some fun with Bill Belichick joining Instagram.

The New England Patriots legend took to Instagram to discuss his former coach finally joining the app and joked that the fun times were over.

"Alright guys, party's over. Bill's here," Brady said. "It was a good run, but we have got to shut it down. Welcome, coach!"

Belichick finally joined the platform on Wednesday after previously dismissing it when he was the Patriots coach. Coincidentally, this comes during the first NFL season since 1975 in which Belichick is not actively coaching.

Belichick served as the Patriots head coach from 2000 to 2023 and was Brady's coach for the majority of those seasons. The duo helped bring six Super Bowls to New England in one of the most dominant runs in NFL history.

Brady departed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2019 season and would add a seventh Super Bowl before retiring after the 2022 season. Belichick would lead the Patriots back to the postseason in 2021 but the team missed out in the other three seasons and he would part ways with the franchise after a 4-13 season in 2023.

He has taken on numerous media roles for 2024 and utilizing social media platforms like Instagram can help him gain more exposure. Brady's comments reflect the changed nature of his former coach and maybe will signal a future collaboration between the two.
