Four-star shooting guard prospect Kiyan Anthony will have an in-home visit with Syracuse, the alma mater of his father Carmelo Anthony, on Sept. 4, Dushawn London reported for 247Sports.

Anthony is currently deciding between his final six schools of USC, Rutgers, Ohio State, Auburn, Florida State and Syracuse.

Anthony is also set to visit USC from Sept. 14-16 and is currently scheduling a visit to Rutgers, per London.

Before becoming an NBA legend, Carmelo Anthony led Syracuse to the program's first NCAA tournament title during his single college season in 2002-03.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Kiyan Anthony is the No. 31 overall prospect and No. 5 shooting guard for the 2025 class.

Anthony put up several highlight-reel performances this summer in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League circuit. He excelled at scoring off the pick-and-roll in EYBL play, as noted by 247Sports' Eric Bossi.

Rutgers could present a draw for Anthony after setting up championship aspirations with commitments from five-star class of 2024 prospects forward Ace Bailey and guard Dylan Harper.

USC is likewise aiming at top recruits from the 2025 class with reported interest in five-star guard Brayden Burries.

Syracuse has meanwhile begun its campaign to recruit Anthony with five-star Syracuse commit Sadiq White Jr., who said in July he is working on convincing Anthony to join him in New York.

Anthony also said in July that Syracuse head coach Adrian Autry has attended his games as part of the school's recruitment efforts, per Charlie Parent of Zagsblog.

"I just like the atmosphere, you know, obviously my dad went there 20 something years ago, so I just like the atmosphere, I like the family environment," Anthony said about Syracuse in July, per Parent. "The coaches, I feel like they're recruiting me for myself, and not just because of my father. That's what I like.

"I just feel like they're rebuilding, and they're looking to get a winning team. I feel like I can help them do that if I was to go there."

Syracuse could receive an answer as soon as next month. Anthony said that he plans to commit to a school in October or November, prior to his senior high school season, Sam Lance previously reported for Zagsblog.
