FedEx Cup Winner 2024: Scottie Scheffler's Prize Money and Final Golf Standings

After ending the PGA Tour season in disappointment in back-to-back years, Scottie Scheffler has finally claimed a title that has eluded him throughout his stellar career.

Scheffler capped off a win at the 2024 TOUR Championship on Sunday to officially claim the FedEx Cup title for the first time. With the victory, Scheffler was awarded the $25 million FedEx Cup bonus.

The total prize pool for this year was upped from $75 million in 2023 to $100 million, giving all 30 players at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta the chance to earn a solid payday.

The title was Scheffler's to lose, as he entered the 2024 TOUR Championship in first place at -10 and never looked back, shooting six-under 65 in the first round and five-under 66 in both the second and third rounds. He closed with four-under 67 in the final round for an overall score of -30.

Scheffler also began the 2022 and 2023 TOUR Championships in first place but failed to take home the victory both times. The world No. 1 golfer can now add the FedEx Cup to his mantle, which also includes a gold medal at the Paris Olympics this summer. He's had a bank-breaking 2023-24 season on the PGA Tour:

Elsewhere on the green, Collin Morikawa finished second in the TOUR Championship with an overall score of -26. 2023 FedEx Cup champion Viktor Hovland tied for 12th at -15.

Russell Henley surged nine spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for fourth place after shooting nine-under 62 on Sunday. He capped his round with an incredible eagle putt that had the crowd buzzing.

The win at the TOUR Championship is Scheffler's seventh of the 2024 campaign, which also included a victory at the 2024 Masters Tournament for his second career green jacket. He's a shoo-in for his third straight PGA Tour Player of the Year award.

Now that the 2023-24 PGA Tour season is officially in the books, players will turn their attention to starting their chase for next year's FedEx Cup. The 2024-25 season begins with the Procore Championship at Silverado Resort in Napa, California from Sept. 12-15.
