Video: Conor McGregor BKFC Fight Teased by Jeremy Stephens After UFC History

The next chapter in the Conor McGregor and Jeremy Stephens rivalry could come in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Stephens is slated to face Bobby Taylor in Saturday's match, but he was asked about his old UFC foe during an interview with TMZ Sports (three-minute mark) and did not rule out a future showdown.

"You never know," he said. "Stay tuned. … If my name's ringing hot, my name's ringing bells, and the timing and things line up."

TMZ Sports noted that McGregor purchased a stake in BKFC and plans on fighting in the sport in the future. Stephens is attempting to improve his own record to 2-0 with a victory over Taylor, which he didn't seem too worried about.

"Body bag, not worried about the opponent, man," he said. "... He's just an opponent, go in there and do my thing."

As for McGregor, he and Stephens will forever be linked thanks to the former's memorable press conference ahead of UFC 205 in 2016 where he not-so-politely asked "who the f--k is that guy?"

McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez in the second round via KO/TKO at UFC 205, but it was the press conference jab at Stephens that remained memorable and led to back-and-forths on social media even though they never fought in the Octagon.

Maybe they will finally face each other in the future, just without gloves.
