Chris Bosh Thrills NBA Fans with Return to Court in Goran Dragić's Farewell Game

Andrew Peters

Chris Bosh was back on the court on Saturday for the first time since 2016.

The Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat legend participated in his former teammate, Goran Dragić's, farewell game in Slovenia along with several other NBA stars.

Bosh's career was cut short due to a blood-clotting condition in 2016. Finally back in action in front of a crowd, fans were excited to watch Bosh play again.

While he didn't get as much time in the league as he might have hoped, Bosh still had a tremendous 13-year NBA career. He averaged 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and a block per game, spending the first half of his career with the Raptors before joining Dwyane Wade and LeBron James on the Heat in 2010.

Bosh was named an NBA All-Star 11 times and of course, won a pair of NBA championships in Miami. He was also a member of the United States 2008 "Redeem Team" that won gold in the Beijing Olympics after earning bronze in 2004.

Along with being inducted into the NBA's Hall of Fame, Bosh's No. 1 jersey was retired by the Heat in 2021.

Bosh had a memorable NBA career that had an unfortunate ending, but on Saturday he got to relive his playing days alongside his former teammate.
