Celtics' Jayson Tatum Trolled By Derrick White at 2024 Olympics for Viral Tie Video

Derrick White made a hilarious callback to a viral Jayson Tatum video from more than a decade ago ahead of the Opening Ceremony at the Olympics on Friday.

As the Boston Celtics guard put on his suit for the event, he was asked if he knew how to tie a tie, and his response was priceless.

"I do, I watched JT's tutorial," White said.

White was referencing a video posted to Tatum's YouTube channel in 2013 in which the Celtics star teaches his audience how to tie a tie. The full context of the video is unknown, but it seems like it was for some sort of school project.

Since Tatum's rise to NBA prominence, the video has gained plenty of traction drawing more than 8 million views. Recently, Tatum made his own call back to his first video, releasing a video teaching fans how to tie a shoe. The video also served as a promotion for his signature shoes.

Tatum, White and another Celtic, Jrue Holiday are in Paris preparing to help Team USA win another gold medal at the Olympics. The trio are fresh off an NBA Finals win and will hope to continue their winning streak against international play.

Team USA will play its first game of the Olympics on Sunday against Nikola Jokić and Serbia.
